Jeff is my first choice to call when I need any work done. He is professional and can be counted on to complete the project. He is upfront on what to expect, and most important, he adapted to the project as it evolved and changed in scope. He was able to solve all of the unforeseen issues that developed along the way and he was fair and reasonable regarding the additional work. He uncovered a major structural issue and was able to resolve it for me. I was thankful that he found the problem and found a solution. He is a good person and by the end of the project, I felt that he was also considered a friend. I highly recommend Jeff!

The final work was nice but they took no care in protecting what we had already replaced. After asking them to use a drop cloth they didn't use it till we put it where it needed to be. The guy with all the experience had his daughter doing the grouting which took over 7 hours for a small area. When there was a problem with an outlet he told her he didn't want to come all the way back to our house (because he'd been paid, no doubt) and instructed her to do it (which she wasn't comfortable with) and we ended up having to redo it anyway.

"Yes, we dropped some thin-set on the floor and I apologize for that. It cleans right up with a little water with no damage. My daughter was not having a problem with the outlet: it was a switch cover. If she absolutely could not get it on I would have come over. I told her *I am not driving over there to put on a switch plate.* She got it done. As far as 7 hours goes, at some point I have to leave my employees on their own to sink or swim. Elizabeth started January 1st with me and she is coming along. I'd rather have someone go slow and do it correctly instead of rushing. As far as your comment, "he didn't want to come all the way back to our house because he had been paid no doubt" : it was two screws holding on a switch plate cover for an outlet. I was an hour away. I've known my daughter since she was born. I know she tends to ask for help a little early. I also know from 25 years experience the way you get good at something is to struggle until you get it right. I was an hour away. Given the option of leaving a jobsite for two hours over two screws I thought it wise to ask her to try a couple more times. Your comment about not wanting to come over because I was already paid is petty, vindictive and inaccurate."
