Maverick Plasterers does high quality work. I had several cracks repaired and 2 ceilings completely refinished. The only negative issues were a leaky bucket that was left in the house overnight put my new waterproof floors to the test. There was also some plaster residue along my walls near the ceiling that has not come off with vinegar and water as I was told. The ceiling finishes are really nice though and I would definitely recommend it hem to others.

If you are in the Tampa Bay area and look to get a stucco work done. Definitely consider this company. Even you have to wait in a queue. It is worth the waiting. We have a 2-story residential house with siding and wanted to have it stuccoed (fine sand). We interviewed many companies, including Maverick. Jeff (the owner) was just fantastic from the get-go in terms of visit, giving quote, sending referrals, answer questions, etc. And their pre-planning before the project is also amazing. Before the project even started, they came over at least 3 times to check the site, the preparation and communicate with out contractor. And the guys who did the work came on time, very clean and neat and did a fantastic job. We did have a couple of very, very minor issues (really just being perfectionists). nevertheless, Jeff addressed our concerns immediately. These days, you don't see this kind of service and quality of work often. Very, very happy. Highly recommended.

Did a great job and promptly.

I recommend this company to anyone! I had them do some stucco repairs on my house when Home Depot damaged my house and refused to take responsibility. Jeff was very professional, did an outstanding job, and even touched up some of the crappy work that Home Depot did on my windows. He went above and beyond, and showed that he really cares about his reputation. He quickly returned all calls and emails, and followed up after the work was complete. I can't say enough good things.

Work seemed rushed and I feel it was priced more than what it should have been. Jeff is nice however and I would have preferred Jeff to have done the work himself since he told me he has 20 years experience in the business. Why tell me that if you're going to sub the work out to other workers and not be there when the work is going to be performed. At the end, a bunch of mistakes had to be fixed due to the rushed work performed by the others. Despite showing up late both days and working into the night, I feel like I was left with an adequate end-product, would have liked to see better results for the money spent. Additionally, much like another review that was left here, they do not clean up the mess that is left. When asked, Jeff cleaned up some of the mess but the site was still left with a large amount of dried plaster on my deck and dust on the door and some was spilled on my AC fan blade which was later cleaned up. Despite them cleaning it up, you should not have to ask a contractor to clean up after themselves, that should be expected.

Jeff personally did this job. He didn’t arrive until around 4:30 in the afternoon and finished about 9:30 pm. He tried to clean up, but there was still dust everywhere. His workmanship was beautiful and we will have him back after the holidays to do more work for us.

Very easy to work with. He worked around my schedule, very quickly sized up the job, and gave me an estimate that was very reasonable. He returned two days later and got the job done in one day. They do excellent work and I would definitely use them again.

Jeff was not present when the work was completed. I was busy cleaning up while the 2 man crew doing my inside bedroom ceiling and patio/porch ceiling 'finished'. I provided coverings for my furniture beforehand, however they used NO drop cloths or coverings for the floors or anything else, and it was a terrible mess all over both floors inside and out. Plaster was on my mural walls, the screens on my porch and the aluminum doors. They semi-cleaned, using my shopvac and a wet sponge, but I spent 2 hours cleaning up every little piece, including the plaster and mud tracked through my house. After they left, I thoroughly inspected both ceilings and was hugely disappointed. The porch looked 'OK', but the BR quality was poor. The edges weren't feathered and there was no texture match performed on either space, so it looks like a blatant patch job on both. I spoke to Jeff, and he came by to inspect it that night. He agreed the work was subpar, but insisted on correcting it right then b/c he 'just didn't have time to come back and do it any other time'. I explained that I didn't want him to do that b/c it was late, it was dark and my husband was out of town. I didn't think it was appropriate, but he basically said now or never b/c he didn't have time to come back. The plaster was dry, so he had to sand, and when he left, I was cleaning up the mess until well past 10PM with a shopvac and mopping over and over. White powder was everywhere and I had to throw away the 4 drop cloths (of mine!). The next morning, I woke up to white powder covering every inch of my house from the AC sucking it in and spreading it around. I've been cleaning up white powder for a week, still. Jeff reduced my price by $25 for my 'cleaning fee' when I complained about having to clean up after the previous crew. Little did I know how much more cleaning I would have to do! Jeff seems like a nice guy, but he kept telling me how busy he was and how small my job was and how big of a job he was doing in Brandon...I heard this multiple times in 2 days. And, although Jeff made it much better than his crew in the BR, the work is still not the quality that he promised when hired to do the job and WHAT A MESS HE LEFT. The whole experience was stressful, and I wish I would have demanded he come back and make it right during NORMAL work hours and not pressured me into allow him to do it at night. He also promised an invoice that night, after I asked for one 2 times that day. I received it 2 days later when I emailed a reminder to him. Apparently, my job was TOO small for him to provide 5 star service to, like everyone else on Home Advisor received.

Jeff and his Team are PHENOMENAL!! I had requested quotes from a dozen contractors all of them failed to return calls or provide quotes. I explained to Jeff over the phone the scenario and he stepped right into this mess. Quote was more than fair, he ended up doing a lot more work because he was so accommodating. Jeff and his workers did a wonderful job. They worked until it was done and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone needing stucco or plastering. They were very professional.

Jeff and his crew did excellent work. When he told me he would be there, he was there. The work started and progressed as expected. The work site was well maintained and clean up was excellent. Jeff went over and above and took care of minor issues that were not part of the original quote and spent time explaining maintenance and painting. I would recommend Jeff and his crew without reservation.
