Jennifer Benson Architecture, PLLC - Facebook

Horrible!!!! We would STRONGLY suggest thinking again before considering JBA for anything! Our initial contact began on 1/15/21 and was formalized on 1/29/21 then continued through our last voicemail on August 27, 2021 in which I specifically offered to have her just provide me with a time and communication vehicle to make it as easy as possible. Her voicemail was so full on 8/26/21, we were unable to leave a voicemail. To date, she has not responded, apologized, completed the contracted services or communicated in any manner when we should even expect to receive the services or a refund if she can no longer fulfill her obligation. We were very clear from the outset what our vision was and all contact information available to the Designer who was our main contact. When the Designer told us she would be having surgery out side of the country and our project would be handled by Jenn or someone in the office would be contacting us The Schematic Designs and Construction Documents did not include all of the documents as outlined in the Scope of Project agreement although they were paid on time as per the agreement. When I questioned her Designer about the missing documents, and the document that was being called a 3-Dimentional Color Drawing when it was not actually 3-D, did not provide a realistic rendering of the renovation after the changes as those represented on JBA website I was told to take it up with Jennifer directly. The elevations specifically state that they are reviewed by Jennifer Benson, there the expectation is that the work provided will be professional and complete. If JBA is only interested in homes that provide a different challenge then please be honest. If you are not interested in a client, respectfully decline the work - I would like a refund!!!!! She has not done the work.

Good job

Jennifer Benson Architecture did not communicate well during the project and did not meet any of the timelines outlined in the contract. Expectations of the project cost were very unclear and they lead you to believe a budget that they never actually expect to be achievable. They also did a poor job of thinking of ways to make the project look one step better and they frequently forgot to add items in the plans even though they were discussed the day before.

She listens and makes the procedure about you. No ego and open to your ideas.

Finding the righ people to do the job was great on HomeAdisor.com

Nothing.

Never finishes the job.

Great Architect! I will definitely hire her again for my next and future projects.

Really pleased with Jennifer's work! She designed a ground floor master bedroom addition. Took the time to listen to our needs and ideas and provide the guidance help to bound the project. The first phase of the project is complete and we will be using her to assist in contractor selection and construction oversight.

Excellent to work with...great ideas on both architectural elements and design work
