Jerry Braxtor Handyman - Unlicensed Contractor

In the process of trying to my job, jerry seemed inexperienced and actually caused damage to doors and windows in my home, and was rude with me and arrogant about his experience including taunting him with his HomeAdvisor review score at that time. But he could not provide me any evidence to back up his score . He was messy and was rude with me why I tried to clean it up. After the damage, he told me that If I did not leave him alone then he would leave and I would still need to pay him, and also then threatened to cause other damage or steal one of the doors that I can not replace. Now I will need to hire someone else to fix the problems he has caused, I would not hire him again. His character is obnoxious, He told me to leave him alone anytime I asked him to correct an issue. He made me scared of him.

Jerry did a fine job repairing a sagging section of a ceiling. He then textured, sanded & painted. I will be using Jerry on other projects in the future. I like the quality of his work & his dependability.

Jerry had to go the extra mile to find enough matching materials to repair the two panels that a car had knocked out. But, he was able to get the panels put up and they look great. In addition I had Jerry repair a sagging ceiling. He did a fine job and textured well and then painted. I expect to use Jerry on future jobs.

I had a fairly large sized wood Patio Cover that was in need of serious repairs. Mr. Braxtor gave me the best Bid price, out of four estimates and looking at his performance reputation shown here on 'Home Advisor' I awarded him the job. I'm happy to report he lived up to his reputation. The work was completed on the schedule he gave me and he was right on budget. I'm retired, so I watched his work on a daily basis. He was very intentive with his work, his attention to detail and craftmanship were far beyond what I expected. If you are looking for a 'Five Star' handyman, I have no hesitance in recommending him to you. I plan on having him do a number of projects for me, in the future. Thank you

Jerry did a good job. We had our porch repaired, which was destroyed by the weather and termites. He replaced all rotten boards and repainted.

Jerry repaired a large hole in a water-damaged ceiling that had collapsed. He was prompt in responding and was courteous. The work was excellent. However, we had a snafu over directions I left him in a phone message, which he apparently did not receive, but we worked out a solution. He takes pride in his work, and completed the project in a timely fashion for a reasonable price.
