I want this project finished I paid them no recommended company

It is nothing but been a nightmare trying to work with John Jessee, Jessee Carpentry ( out of Osgood, IN). He never calls back. Tore into my deck and left it in an unsafe condition (I have 11 grandkids). He showed up two times in a month and had every excuse in the book. I tried getting my money back ($7,300) and now I cannot get a hold of him. Tried / arbitration process, but both parties have to sign up. It has been over a week and he still has not signed up. Guess I will take the next step in the process.

Unprofessional, lack of integrity and I lost over 1,000 - He canceled 4 times, was increasingly difficult to get ahold and stalled on the time frame promised with no end in sight or attempt to make it right. He did not give me back my $1200 down on the work (zero work was accomplished) when I asked to go with another professional because my time was not being respected. No work was accomplished (I actually did more work than him) and it was a stressful experience. When someone hires a professional it usually is to take off your plate, not put more on it. This individual lacks integrity of any kind based on his behavior. Wasted time and money. I just ask for my deposit money back (1200 minus the drywall which should not be anymore than $200 for this to be resolved). I feel swindled and scammed. I just asked for my funds back and I will take down review. Until then, I want to share this information so others do not get swindled by this individual as well.
