"We quoted this job before we began work as Hourly plus parts. At the end of the job the customer signed the work order for billing. We have the original of his signature. Only after receiving the invoice did he then begin to argue. We have his signature on the work order. Most sprinkler repairs. 90% of our repair work orders are by the hour plus parts. Sprinkler systems are below ground and unseen. This is why we do this. There are good systems easy to work and there are unfortunatley horrible system out there. After 27 years of doing this We Recognize some repairs are more difficult than others. Unfortunately he requested additional work while there that went an hour and a half (half hour over service call). We feel it was reasonable. So do 95% of our customers or we wouldn't have lasted this long. ( he still hasn't paid as of this response to his review even though he was satisfied with the repair.) We also charge for Home Advisor fees because every call we get from Home advisor charges us anywhere from 7.50 to 50$ for these lead fees. They are a business expense."

"I admit I did forget to come back to repair the chip in the concrete. And I would be glad to take care of that for you, that was my fault that I forgot. It did take us longer because before we worked at your house it rained in September for a week and got us behind. I do pay overtime for anything over 40 hours. My guys hit overtime on Fridays around nine or 10 in the morning. That is why I let them off on Fridays around two or 3 o'clock. We have been in business 26 years and we do our best to meet the needs of our customers. I apologize for missing on this one 9/15. We returned for a small warranty call at no charge. Customer was very nice and appreciative."
