Jim'll Fix-it

Was not pleased with his work at all.

Jim did a great job on communicating about his time of arrival. He did inform me, as he was filling out the invoice, that he does charge for travel time. The house presented several problems and Jim tackled each one of them. I would hire him again if his schedule and my schedule would allow it.

Jim was awesome! He charged me exactly the hours he worked and did excellent work!! If I wasnâ t moving away from the region Iâ d definitely be using him again!

Got out here quickly and fixed our issue.

Jim was very professional and nice. He quoted one price at the beginning of the job, worked for 3 hours, and tried to charge me for 5. He stated he was adding travel cost. Because I complained, he charged me for 4 hours, but only worked for 3. He installed wall cabinets, and asked me to install the doors. I found out when I put my cabinet doors on that he had lost a screw.

Jim is very friendly and easy to work with. He followed my instructions and took care of my needs to my expectations.

Charged by the hour and quoted work would get done in 36 hours. Spent 17.5 hours and made very little progress. Accepted electrical work that he was not knowledgeable enough to do (ended up hiring an electrician) Had to let him go because I could clearly see he was not going to get things done in the time frame he said he would. Very likable and respectable but best to hire for simple carpentry repairs, no plumbing or electrical needs.

Jim is completely professional and conscientious. He kept the project within budget, and competently handled unexpected issues that often pop up on such projects. I love my new bathroom, and I will hire him for my next project.

Hired him based on a quote of 4 hours to do the job. He charged me for 7 which included all his clean-up time. How can you mis-bid a 4 hour job by 3 hours?

Honest, Great value, Smart Guy!

For whatever reason, Jim heard me but didn't listen to a word I said. He left chemicals and screws in my Down Syndromes sons room, which he ate, but did not eat the screws. I had just painted the room 3 days prior ,but had to wash joint compound off walls ,floors, furniture ,bedding, and throw him in the tub. I told him Tyler had no ability to protect himself from danger, and he still left screws in his room. I had to call poison control. He was slow and barked at me and my daughter . he created work for me on both days. and tried overbilling me on hours. No way he'll be coming here again! Consider yourselves warned.
