Jim Strait is a Carroll Graduate '68 and is an avid DRAGON supporter. We pride ourselves in long term customer relationships, some of our current client relationships go back 30 years. We are dedicated to meeting or exceeding our customers needs at a Fair and Reasonable price. We are capable of tending to all your HVAC needs from annual service agreements, to service and repair, to complete system replacement and upgrades. Jim and his buddy came in - took note of the thermostat issue, went upstairs fixed it. Done in 25 minutes. He could've easily told me there was something more expensive wrong with the AC... Turns out it was a cheap fuse. Good guy!

"it was a saturday summertime 100 degrees, doing service solo, last call of the day, yes i was dirty, been in attics and cleaning dirty condensers, yes my nitrogen bottle put a stain on his white carpet (my fault). i gave him a $50 discount to have it cleaned, i offered to clean it and his wife said she would rather do it.Hey when you work as hard as we do in the summer you get dirty."

I picked Jim's Mechanical to repair my home A/C unit. They were the first to call and were timely in coming out but were unable to fix the problem. I was charged for labor to clean the coils and to recharge the unit and was told the problem was corrected. It wasn't. I called Jim's Mechanical back on a Sunday and he came back out, let most of the freon I paid for out and told me he wanted to replace a valve which he had to pick up the next day. I had the feeling they were going to start replacing parts until they found the defective one charging me along the way. I ended up calling another company to come out and properly repair the unit.
