I cannot recommend JnC Home Repair or John Winfrey. He repeatedly failed to show up for scheduled appointments, ignored messages, and never completed the work I paid for. He also refused to return the materials I purchased that he picked up. He wants money in advance and I paid 1/3 of job via Square. He then said Square put a hold on the funds (they had come out of my account) and asked if I could pay $500 more. Like a total idiot...I did. So, this thief owes me $3,420.37 for labor paid and not completed as well as materials that he still has in his possession and refuses to return to me or pay for. I have filed theft charges and will be taking him to small claims court. If you are dumb enough to hire him...do NOT pay in advance for anything or expect a completed job. Based on my experience, the glowing reviews appear highly questionable.

They left the job incomplete. They were supposed to put in batten insulation. They left many pieces out and others just bundled up in the attic . Called John said he would fix it--never showed up. Texted him several times and even called-no response.I'm a 74 yr old disabled Viet Nam vet and for him to treat me like this is bs. I would not recommend him to anyone.
