March 2024 I contacted JDL because my very old boiler (radiator heat) was making very loud noises, leaking water and the radiators were not heating up as they should have been. Tech Brown came out, he was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very respectful of my home. He inspected the boiler in detail to determine the cause of the problems. He determined that several parts needed replacing. He worked diligently on replacing the parts on the boiler. My boiler is now working better than it has worked in years: it is running quietly, no water leaking, and radiators are putting out good heat. I highly recommend JDL HVAC and Plumbing Services.

i had a 22 yr old heat pump replaced, It was only a couple hours to have someone on site. I had an installed heat pump the next afternoon before 4 PM. Amazing!

The JDL tech came in, opened the unit , cleaned the nozzle, closed the unit and tried to start. Heat still did not work. Tech tried a couple other things afterwards. Still the heat did not work. The tech stated the company will send an estimate for work to be done to get the heat back on. The estimate was $1700 to replace nozzles, electrodes, filter and purge the system. The tech recommended to replace the electrodes only. I told them no thanks. I called another company Titan, who came out and stated to change the transformer. He showed me there was no spark. He did not have the parts on his truck. I paid him the service fee like I paid to JDL. I ordered the transformer and a filter from amazon. I changed both items in 10 minutes and the heat started working. If I had allowed JDL HVAC services to perform the $1700.00 estimate, I still would not have had any heat since the estimate did not include the transformer which provides spark for the system. I am a Licensed General contractor and I would not recommend JDL HVAC SERVICES to anyone.

Thank you for the time and feedback. When the technician arrived at the home he found an oil furnace with a lack of maintenance that also would not ignite. Upon further investigation, he found that the Filter, Electrode Assembly, and the Nozzle would have to be replaced. He even took the nozzle out and showed you the sludge build-up in the unit. After those services would be completed, the line would need to be bled of air and a combustion(to make sure it ignites) analysis would need to be done. Everything that was quoted. We understand no one likes expensive repairs, however, the quoted work needs to be done to get the Oil Furnace back in Optimal Working Condition. We do not pressure approval of the estimates and encourage you to get second and even third opinions. We do thank you for the feedback and wish you luck with your project. Have an amazing day!!!

I was not told about having to cut down a panel in my home to remove the water heater. If your conducting work in someones home, the owner should be informed prior to removing a structure of the home.
