After having 2 other contractors come in and give me an estimate, I hired Sampson's Plumbing and Heating for an oil to gas conversion. They gave me the best price by far and, more importantly, I felt comfortable with them from the start. They handled everything! From getting the permit, doing the work, scheduling the inspections, and removal of my old oil tank. Their neat installation of the high-efficiency system even brought praise from the National Grid inspector! There was a team of 4 guys here the first day. All were very polite and did a great job of working together. Two of them returned the 2nd day to complete the job and were here for the town inspector who passed the job without any problems. The work area was left nice and clean when they finished, too. Sampson Plumbing had also hired someone to remove the oil tank from my garage (unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the company). They showed up towards the end of day 1, pumped out the oil remaining in the tank and took the tank away, all in a little over an hour. They too made sure to clean things up. All in all, a fantastic job by this company! Would hire them again without any second thoughts.

Overall I'm very happy, the work they did was very good and well done. They were responsive when I called them back with a problem and I really appreciate that. I had a couple of water leaks after they placed the new boiler that were not there before. They said they did not work in that area, but maybe things got moved. I would have fix it. However, I am satisfied with their work and would recommend them.

They installed by toliet, sink vanity and shower fixtures. They were very quiet and clean. The job was complete faster than I had expected.

I lost my oil run boiler three days before the big January storm. I decided to convert to a natural gas boiler and set out getting estimates. I called 4 companies for estimates. One company did not call me back. One company gave an estimate over the phone without even looking at the job. Another company's estimate was so ridiculously over the top I literally laughed. Then there was Sampson Plumbing. They came to the house, looked at what I had, and sat down with me and went over the process of what I wanted to do. Their price was reasonable and fair for the work to be done. Due to the conversion to natural gas, I had to wait for National Grid to run the gas to the house, but over that period of time Sampson Plumbing kept in touch with me. They kept me advised as to any updates they received. They showed up for install at the date and time promised. The day of the install it rained, and the workers all were very conscious not to drag any dirt or wet foot prints into the house, they even wore "booties" when they had to traverse a carpeted area. At the job's completion each day, they cleaned up the area. Their work was neat, and looks professional. They stayed with me through the multiple appointments with the village inspector. All paperwork for refunds were taken care of by Sampson Plumbing. They were a true pleasure to have work in your home, and I would highly reccomend them for any heating/plumbing needs.

These guys got my 1950's boiler out of the basement and installed a brand new gas boiler along with 80' of gas lines inside the home. They always arrived promptly and quickly got to work. Joe's guys are all very respectful of their workspace and cause the least amount of trouble for the client. I was very happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for any plumbing job that I need in the future.

The guys came right over fixed the problem that I was having with the gas. Very sastisfied! When I recieved the bill it was very reasonable. I would hire him again in a second.

My experience from start to finish was seamless. Mr.Sampson and his crew are true professionals. They relocated my old oil burner to a more efficient gas Navien. The project was a big task to take on since my Levitown style house restricted my old boiler to the kitchen. The new unit runs cleaner and more efficient. All coordination with permits and paperwork was handled by Mr. Sampson. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to contact them for all my Plumbing & Heating needs in the future.
