I realize that not everyone who uses companies such as this has a good/bad experience. It varies with the situation. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Joels & Son. Christmas Eve morning, my furnace started making a funny noise. I called multiple HVAC companies to try to get someone to come out to check it. Joel was the only one who answered the phone and did arrive within an hour, which is a positive. He looked at the furnace and said it needed a new motor. I gave him a check to pay for the motor ($450) plus $310 for the service call and he said he would order it. The same day, a different company came and looked at the furnace for a second opinion. By then it was working perfectly. They said it was fine and it did not need a new motor. I immediately texted and emailed Joel numerous times to not order/cancel the order for the new motor. Never heard back from him. A week later, Joel called to tell me the motor was in. I told him I did not need it, the furnace was working, etc. and that could he return it. He said he would call the place and see what their policy was on returns and call me back. He never called back. I called again 2 more times and spoke with a woman who said she would have him call me back. He never did call. So, many weeks later, I am out $450 and have nothing to show for it. I can understand if he can not return my money, but, he could at least give me the motor I paid for also returning phone calls, texts, and emails would be nice. Nothing like scamming a 76-year-old senior citizen living on a fixed income. To me, this is just stealing and not a very good way to do business. He has my money and my motor. Be careful if you use this company for your HVAC needs. I will never use them again or recommend them to any of my friends or neighbors.

Joel was extremely thorough in his work. His attention to detail, professionalism, kindness, and knowledge exceeded my expectations. I had another business come out to repair my furnace. After they failed, I was so grateful I came across Joel. He identified and repaired what others couldnâ t. I wish I knew about him the first time! Highly recommend!

Had requested a quote for heating and cooling service and within a minute or two, I received a call from Joel asking when TODAY they can come for a diagnostic. Joel was professional, extremely timely, knowledgable and trust worthy. He was done within 15 minutes (of course, this will be on a case by case basis - our particular situation was simply small). We would have suffered another cold night in our home had he not come to the rescue. We highly recommend!

They came on a Sunday, it was one of the hottest days of the year!! Called them at about 3:30pm, and they were here 30 min later! Grateful for their promptness!! Friendly and caring!

I wish I can give them more then 5 stars, because are definitely 10 stars! Joel and his crew were phenomenal and very affordable. They were able to come same day when my house did not have any AC for me and my family. They were respectable, courteous, and treated us like family! I would 100% recommend them to anyone, and when it s time to replace my furnace, I am calling them!

Joel replaced my AC condensing unit system and the evaporated coil. Nice people. Very polite. Come on time. Great teamwork. Get the job done quickly. Reasonable price. Would highly recommend them.

Jesse was the best! After having 5 companys come out and tell me my unit was fired. Jesse changed the capacitor and fixed everything! Would highly recommend!!!

Excellent customer service and excellent knowledge of needed repair to my furnace. The repair person arrived precisely at the agreed time, thoroughly explained the needed repair, and promptly got the needed part and did the repair. I will definitely call on them if I need something in the future.

Great customer service the owner himself will talk to you before and after the jobs done, making sure you are satisfied with there work. Technician who came out was knowledgeable. Explained the problem and did a great job fixing it.

I recommend Joel's & Son Heating & Air Conditioning. He was approachable and quick in responding with the requirements that I had for AC Unit and Furnace replacement. The work was neat and on time. Communication is the key thing I was looking for and it was on the spot.

Joel is a good man his guys are very good and polite they do clean work in a timely fashion. They cleaned up everything before they left and tested everything.

It's a small family owned business and they are friendly and easy to talk to.
