First I asked that John Favella, in 2021, only build the foundation for a small module, under 1200 sq.ft., that would be purchased from a company. Favella wrote he could build the entire house for about the same price. He requested a certain amount of money. cashed the check, then a few months of stalling wrote me that the price was about $100,000 more, and he provided us with a plan for a house over 1,800 sq.ft.. Favella stalled for many months after we refused this larger house plan. I requested my money back if he would not build what we requested. He refused to return our money. In the mean time, we found that John Favella was arrested once related to his business practices, a had lost in a Orange County court case for poor building practices. Also there are others who were provided poor services building practices, and subcontractors who were not paid hired by Favella. John Favella did not even dig a hole on my property. We have hired an attotney like others have done.

Our new 4,000 sq foot home was recently completed. John began the project about 2 years ago starting with taking down trees and excavating to every finish detail inside and out. The process took longer than anticipated, and cost a lot more due to upgrades and changes we asked for. Not every conversation with John was easy, but he?s got a vision and a talent that gave us a house we never imagined . We are very satisfied..

John Favella just lost a civil case in Orange County, NY. Supreme Court summer 2024 for a construction fraud issue. I am also taking him to court as he took money from me, but never did the work he said he would do, then disappeared.

The prompt response from contractor for quote cost for decking and railing removal and replacement with new composite decking metrical and PVC railing products. Contractors crew came and removed old decking and removed from site next day crew arrived 8 am and performed more hardware and screws where needed on deck framing crew worked vary well in layout of new Trex decking to frame for less waste. at 7 pm first day the hole deck was completed and clean up was performed. on second day crew arrived 7 am and started layout of all new PVC deck railing and new stair way again all layout was performed for limited waste all went like clock work each crew men had a task to perform and was completed project at 5 pm. I am vary pleased with the crew and the contractor workmanship of my project performed.

The project cost was reasonable. The two carpenters Dustin Wachter(lead) and his coworker Sean Forrest are pros and did an excellent job building the deck. They are polite and easy to deal with. They showed up at work every day on time.John Falvella communicated with us very well thru emails as the project was going on. I would hire John Falvella construction for a next project in our home.

John Favella was very professional. He actually saved the day for us when he gave our project immediate attention in order to meet our time frame at such a short notice. Fast, efficient and quality. The workers were all very polite and showed pride in their work. If you want quality and efficiency John Favella Inc. is definitely a trustworthy company. Thanks for the great job! We Love our deck. Very satisfied, workers are quick and hard working, would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I wish I had found John Favella inc. sooner. I would have had a lot less stress. Past projects would have cost me less and been done on schedule.
