I am back about 8 months to update my previous review. I hired Hope Electric first to do electrical work, then later to remodel a bathroom and other various small projects before putting my house on the market. I told Hope Electric that my goal was for it to pass inspection the first time. I am thrilled to say that the buyer's inspection report showed no deficiencies! I don't think I even knew that was possible to find no deficiencies. I highly recommend this company.

I thought the work was done well I definitely dont regret using them to get the work done however I did have an issue when it came to communication. I SPECIFICALLY asked him if I needed to be at my house the next day as I was staying in the hotel and I didnt have my own vehicle and he said NO. Well, fast forward to like 8:30/9 the next morning he calls me telling me that I need to be at the house THAT DAY. So I had to pack up everything and somehow find transportation to the house within a few hours or else I had no idea when I would be able to get electricity because he told me that he couldnt come back to the house for another week because he had other jobs. And my frustration didnt just come from that he was also saying that I had to give him the rest of his payment not even 24 hours after he completed the first part of the job and it had to be either a cash check or money order, well I dont have checks so let me just tell you my aggravation for my point of view I DONT HAVE A CAR how do you expect me to get cash or money order after not only having to pack up everything I had in the hotel and having to find a ride, he expected me to also somehow get a money order. He demanded the money but would not accept an electronic payment until I basically told them that he is asking for me to do way too much when I specifically asked him if I had to be at the house. Finally, he took my payment through cash app and was happy to see how quickly he got his money!... In my opinion, electronic payments are more convenient for both parties and should have been an option from the get-go. I hope this experienced changed his business practices or at least made electronic payments an option for people.

My panel was maxed out with several double taps. I wanted to upgrade as necessary so it would pass inspection before putting my house on the market. A few options were given, with pros and cons of each, and explained as needed. Once a decision was made a contract was signed and the work scheduled. The owner kept in contact with me from beginning to end, even when he needed to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. The work was performed efficiently, neatly, and for slightly less than the bid amount.

The electrician efficiently did the work I requested. I was very pleased.
