New Yearâ  s Eve morning and Iâ  ve no gas! PG&E checks and shuts off my service. I have to get a plumber. I call Helberath because I saw his business with great reviews on Nextdoor. I leave a message and quickly John calls back. â  Iâ  ll be there in half an hour.â  Itâ  s pouring. He comes. He has to buy supplies and New Years Day itâ  s Sunday so that wonâ  t happen til Monday. But I feel so taken care of. The work is great and he keeps me informed every step of the way. What a crest guy with a wonderful helper. So glad to have him come to the rescue.

Back in 2019, our 20 year old water heater finally gave up the ghost. After contacting other plumbers with less than satifactory responses, we lucked into meeting John. One day later, he and his team showed up and installed a new unit. We now have copius amounts of hot water. Yesterday, our toilet clogged. I left John a message. He returned my call within an hour. He and his son James arrived this morning right on time despite being on vacation. John performed his magic and we have flushes!

John {and Dan} came in twice. John talked us through our options when a brand new kitchen sink faucet failed not once but twice. We appreciated his professionalism and were glad we followed his advice for ultimate resolution.

Outstanding high quality work. I had already received several quotes in which some were simply outrageous, but John convinced me when he explained in detail what he would do to get the project done. When he walked me through it at the door I knew he was the man for the job. Since the repairs were done on a 1906 old farm house (parsonage) things can often get dicey, or as they say, a can of worms, but John and his assistant did a fantastic job. I am glad we hired him. We will definitely use him in the future. Look out John, we already have a few more future projects in mind.

Called Hilberath with a plumbing issue...they came out within 2 days, showed up on time and were polite and professional. I suspected the worst, but they were able to deliver good news at a reasonable price. Performed the work and explained everything in a manner I could understand. Just the nicest two guys. Hilberath was our third attempt at having our Grohe shower faucet temperature set. They were knowledgeable and professional. They also helped us fix an issue with our toilet that other plumbers had not been able too. Overall it was a great experience working with them and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a great plumber. We have their card now saved on our refriderator for any future needs.

I called John on a Friday night after discovering that I had a leak in my water main. He came over the next morning--a Saturday-- and diagnosed the issue. He came and fixed it on Monday morning. In the meantime, he advised me to keep my water shut off to save additional loss. I really appreciated how promptly he responded to my initial call, and how quickly the issue was resolved. John fixed the problem, explaining that it had happened due to the nature of the previous installation, and showing me how the way he did his repair eliminated those issues. Throughout my interactions with John, he was friendly and communicative. I highly recommend him.

I've hired John and Dan several times for water heater install, drain line replacement and hot water pipe replacement among other tasks. I honestly cannot state anything negative here. A professional, detail-oriented team that shows up when they say they will and they make sure all needs are addressed before completing the work. Whenever you need some plumbing work done, you want a plumber that is easy to work with, competent, and does quality work. Hilberath Plumbing scores all 5s on each of these attributes. Take easy to work with. Each time Mr. Hilberath was asked if such and such can be done, his response always was 100 Percent! Mr. Hilberath did two rather complicated plumbing jobs for us. First he replace a huge hot water heater downstairs that was always on even if hot water was not drawn for long periods of time with a tankless water heater. The second job was to plumb in a drain and water connection for a sink and a washing machine we intend to put in our garage. Both jobs were done with the highest quality we came to expect from Mr. Hilberath.
