John Murphy Painting, Inc.

John started when he said he would and finished promptly cleaning up very well after the job. He also took care of some minor nonpainting repairs such as a three inch hole in the wall and molding along the bottoms of the picture windows.

They were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and more importantly, did a great job, gave good advice, were reliable and timely.

Used them to paint three rooms. Very professional, and knowledgeable. They did a great job. We scheduled it around our move to the house and they were very cooperative in scheduling the job and completing it in time.

Overall, a very positive experience. John's rates are the highest of any I found, but he convinced us that he would do a very difference job than others. Still, the cost was staggering. At times he wasn't communicative, at others very responsive but always very courteous. Very easy to work with and very responsive to questions, concerns, requests for touch-ups or re-dos. The whole job was beautifully done, and the painters were all polite and easy to have around.

I thought that John Murphy Painting Inc. did an excellent job on my condominium. Their quote was higher than the other painters I interviewed but they were certified to use certain materials the other painters were not and were much more knowledgeable about paint, fixing the settlement cracks and the painting in general. The presentation and quote was very well thought out and they checked with me first if any additional work needed to be done. I wouldn't ask a plumber to do electrical work or my Uncle Charlie (who is a painter) to paint my place because I wanted a total professional and was willing to pay the extra money to get the job done right the first time. Plus, they guaranty their work.
