The plumber was NO help. Was not familiar with my commode and was lost as to what to do to correct the problem. I had specifically asked for someone with experience or knowledge of my product!!

"Sir, you have an odd toilet, upon follow up phone call you had to order the parts DIRECTLY from the manufacturer. Just because a plumber hasn't seen your specific brand of self cleaning toilet does not mean we are not capable of fixing it. We were willing to order the part and return to replace it for you. I'm sorry we were not able to get this worked out for you. As always, our estimates are free and for the record you were not charged anything on our visit."

Was very disappointed...quoted $650 to replace faucet in shower. Would have had to put a hole in the drywall, and wouldn?t fix it when done. Sad that they can charge whatever they like because ?they don?t repair that brand of faucet?.

"Our plumber did not say "we can charge whatever we like" our price to change shower valve is $650 and they have to cut a hole to access it in your case. The hole will be filled with an access panel which was also explained to you. The fact of the matter is that even if the bill was only $150, you told the plumber that you did not have any money. Unfortunately, we cannot work for free or give you a key to turn the water off at meter as you requested twice. We did, however, shut your water off for you for FREE which temporarily stops your shower from continuously spraying water out as it was when we added you onto the schedule as swiftly as possible that day."

The technician that came out to my house quoted me $650 for a repair to a leak coming from the cold water tap in the hallway bathroom bathtub. He said it would cover replacing the entire fixture (hot/cold taps, shower tap, faucet, and shower head). He also said he would need to go thru the adjoining wall in the hallway linen closet to get to the back of the pipes. I'm not a plumber, but I've been a home owner long enough to know that the leak was probably due to a deteriorated rubber seal inside the cold water tap itself. I called another company for a second opinion and that's exactly what they found when they did the repair....at a fraction of the cost. And they didn't have to go thru an adjoining wall to fix it!! This company was trying to up-sell me on something I didn't need for an insanely high price. All I asked for was a repair to a leaking tap, not a complete set of new fixtures for my hallway bathroom bathtub. I have a master bath project in mind, but due to this bad experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Don't waste your time with this company unless you enjoy spending money on repairs you don't need.

"Thank you for taking the time to review our company. I am sorry the outcome could not have been better for you. After reviewing the notes from the FREE estimate that we gave you and viewing the photos, your tub/shower is very old. The old saying goes in plumbing if you touch it your own it... If we were to have taken that apart and not been able to fix the rubber seal in an original 1967 model tub and shower spout and handles then we would have been working for free. The reason he said you would have a new shower head, spout and handles is because your products are so old we would have to replace them as they wouldn't have matched up with the new products."

Austin was fantastic! Communicated directly as to his arrival time, polite, courteous, knowledgeable, capable. He knew exactly how to fix the issue, answered all of my questions and worded our receipt with precise language so we can take the receipt to the county and get them involved with fixing this issue permanently as it is a county issue. I highly recommend Austin Hatfield. He is definitely an asset and a great representative for Johnny Doan Plumbing. They responded the same day. I needed several hose bibs replaced or repaired. The work was done quickly & well done. Tge repairs were because of an inspection that was done due to the selling of our house. The company also provided a detailed linvoice of the work that was performed. I was able to use this invoice to show the buyers of our house, that we completed the work that was needed from the inspection. Thank you to the plumbers & the office staff that were all very helpful!

Very polite young man checked out the water heater thoroughly & advised I contact an electrician as the problem stemmed from the circuit box. He also addressed bathtub & shower handles which were broken & I could not find replacements for. He will check around & call me when he finds them. Appreciate his help.
