Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes - Repair or Replace
I called these people to replace a kitchen faucet that was installed 2 weeks ago by another company because I found a faucet I liked better. The first thing they wanted, before making an appointment, was a credit card number. I was advised that if I refused the work there would be a $149 service fee. When the techs arrived, they insisted on checking the plumbing, shut off valves, water quality, water pressure, etc. They said the shutoff valves under the kitchen sink needed to be replaced (at a cost of around $600) even though they were relatively new, replaced 3 or 4 years ago and the previous plumbing company never suggested there was anything wrong with the valves. Ultimately, Johnny On The Spot REFUSED to do the work I wanted done because I wouldn?t allow them to upsell me another $600+. So now, they are charging me the service fee. It?s costing me $149 to have THEM refuse the work. They say it?s ?company policy?. In my very humble opinion, this is a scam.

Scam artists...tried to suggest I needed a new AC unit. then told me they did a job that they didn't do as I've just received a second opinion from my home warranty and the part that I was "charged" for isn't even there. They really just changed a $20 part and went on to charge me $628 because they could tell I needed a fix at the moment being a 90 degree home but couldn't get me for $15,000 new AC unit and since I didn't have any options they simply changed the capacitor even though they told me they were going to add a hard start kit (which is not present) because what they told me was wrong was inaccurate. I wish it wasn't a Sunday where I couldn't get a hold of anyone because that was an outrageous charge for a $20 part. And they lied about me needing a new AC unit!

Water Heater - Repair or Service
I've been using Johnny On the Spot for many years now and they have come through every time for me. They replaced my Air Conditioner and my Hot Water Heater and my Heater system to be at their best all the time. Every year they come and inspect them for $39.00 and keep them working so as to not have any emergencies! Yesterday Arturo Agundez inspected my Air Conditioner and Tony Castellanos inspected my Hot Water Heater. Arturo found my Air Conditioner to have no problems but he cleaned my filter and checked all aspects of it to be working great and found some things to be concerned about. Tony found a problem with my Water Heater Anode Rod and thankfully replaced it so I would have no emergency problem with it sooner than later. Both of them showed up on time and with their expertise I knew I was in good hands! I highly recommend Johnny On the Spot for their service as you will be in good hands I promise and I will continue to use them in the future.

Water Treatment & Purification System - Install or Replace
Horribly managed company. Too much reliance on low quality AI that gives the customer the run around. The tech that did the diagnostic said the water softener just needed o-ring replacement. the tech that did the repair found irregularities in the tank and could not set the o-ring right so he said it would continue to leak and it is, still gave me the $819 bill. As far as billing I was quoted $819, to lessen the blow I joined the Comfy Club before the repair to get a membership discount, still paid $819. Asked about the discount and after two weeks of asking was finally told the discount was automatically applied, I guess the discount was 0. Also as part of the Comfy Club I scheduled a HVAC tuneup with a window between 12 and 4 and by 410 still had no clue if or when the tech would show up. So I don?t feel Comfy, I feel like I got ripped off and will definitely not have anything further to do with this company.

Jordan our technician was always prompt and answered all of our questions. Working alone and taking no breaks he quickly corrected the problem restoring our HVAC. Jordan is an example of good work ethics and Customer Service. The Office Staff were extremely helful in setting up the appointment.

We are incredibly happy with the new Trane AC systems that we recently had installed. We wanted to replace our existing 20 years old systems with new state of the art technology with an emphasis on efficiency and reliability. Based on internet research Trane is #1 in the market. Again, based on internet research “Johnny On the Spot Air Conditioning & Heating” (JOHNNYS) are rated TOPS in the Las Vegas market by the BBB, Google reviews and Yelp. Our experience with JOHNNYS was GREAT! As a lifelong comparison shopper JOHNNYS was my first call, followed by many other quotes for Trane AC systems and the manufacturer that is generally rated #2 in the market. JOHNNYS was the best deal and the had the best representative/agent (James) that visited my home. Hector (the lead technologist) and his install team did a great job! They were -- on time, quick, always followed COVID protocol and left the work site supper clean. Replacing a split AC system is not a trivial task. For a process that is large/complex/physically demanding Hector and his team, just got started and ground through the process like professionals (that they are). I was particularly impressed by the check list or run-down Hector did at the end each day with his team. I felt extremely comfortable and confident with both James and Hector through the entire process. One added note: “Johnny On the Spot Air Conditioning & Heating” answered the phone on the second ring every time… cannot say that about every company I got quotes from here in Las Vegas.

They are efficient, reliable and courteous. They are always on time and follow thru with my request. When something is overlooked, they make up for it above and beyond their service. Johnny on the Spot is an awesome company! I scheduled a consultation online and someone called me immediately. James Cox, the technician who came out, quoted us an awesome price for 2 new 16 SEER units. He even gave us a good 0% financing rate for 2 years. We got 5 quotes and I have to say that this company gave us the best dollar for dollar deal for the units and the service maintenance / warranty agreement. Our new units are now installed and it all happened a week after we signed the contract! Our installers Andrew Susterka and Hector Samayoa were also very professional and great! If you need a new system or service your current system, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!
