Do not hire or trust this contractor. There's a reason he's cheap. He pulled the bait and switch. I caught him installing the wrong shingles (worse quality and completely different brand than in our contract). Since then, he's refused to reinstall the correct shingles and has refused to register a warranty for the lower-grade shingles he installed, which is also in our contract. He also told us he was certified with a specific shingle company and was not. He has told at least 18 lies/untruths which I have documented. Two major shingle companies (CertainTeed and Malarkey) got involved in this and both said he misrepresented himself and uncertified him or are in the process. He refuses to make a reasonable price adjustment or fix his mistakes. We are stuck with some roof materials only 60 MPH wind resistant and grade 3, rather than 130 MPH and grade 4 as specified in our contract.

Johnny had done a few minor repairs so when that tornado came thru in May and I saw shingles on the ground it was time to call. They came out and put tarps on until insurance could look at it. Got approval for new roof and Johnny gave us a very good price. His crew was out here early morning and got the roof on and cleaned everything up perfectly. They are even repairing my siding that got damaged as well. He has kept me informed of everything they are doing! I highly recommend this company!!

The roof of our house got damaged during the recent hailstorm and was replaced by the folks from Johnnyâ s Roofing and Storm Restoration company on May 8, 2024 Steve Luna, their sales rep. and Jose Maldonado, the owner, are great Steve was present when the insurance adjuster inspected the damage, kept me in the loop before, during and after the job. He was very responsive. Jose clearly explained the details of their workplan. He was present and closely monitored the job and delivered as promised. In summary, they did a great job, and I would highly recommend them.

Johnny's Roofing did a fantastic job replacing my roof and left my property cleaner than it was when they started. I had gotten 2 other estimates prior to his and he beat both by far. The company did a terrific job. The owner took a lot of time to explain and answer all my many quaestions. The old roof taken off and new one put on all in one day. Yard clean up was very good. The roof looks great. The owner has great pride in his work.
