I had a closet door with a 22â opening, but I needed the opening to be at least 27.5â . John and Ross (his partner) did an amazing job, gave me a full 28â with a paint-ready finish, and they got it done fast! I called John to schedule a free estimate on Monday, he came and gave me the estimate on Tuesday, and he and Ross were able to do all the work on Wednesday. Pros: + Very professional and personable + Showed up not just on time, but early + Wore face masks + Fantastic price. Right on budget based on my research for this type of work. (I had another contractor quote me almost 3 times this price, AND they couldnâ t promise to get me 27.5 inches! Ridiculous!) + Cleaned up after themselves + Let me keep the leftover drywall for future projects Cons: - Estimated 5-6 hours of work, but it ended up taking a bit over 8 hours - Donâ t take venmo or card payment, only cash or check John and Ross assured me that theyâ d be happy to do more work for me, including give free advice if I had questions about any handywork, and left me both their cell numbers. Iâ ll definitely be hiring them again in the future!!

I am very particular regarding whom I hire to work in my house. I've been a home owner for over 20 years, and I've seen the good and the bad. John is a gem. Ross is a gem. These guys were very considerate of my property, even greater than my expectations. John was particularly meticulous with the work he did. It was first rate. They put down a drop cloth all through the house in the regions they'd walk to prevent dragging any dirt onto the floors. They cleaned up when they finished. And good people. I really like these guys a whole lot, and the next time they come over, I am feeding them any leftover homemade Italian food I have on hand, best they'll ever have tasted!

John explained what he was doing and why. He let me see the results of his testing the problem which was helpful for me to understand and see the problem he was going to fix.

John and his co-worker, Ross, did an absolutely outstanding job on tiling two bathroom floors! Wonderful, perfect job! Very professional, courteous and friendly. Took great care of our home and cleaning up after each day. Ran into some issues because our plumbing is older but they worked extremely hard and long hours to make sure it got resolved. Looks beautiful! They are meticulous perfectionists! We are very pleased and will definitely hire John for any and all future work on our house.

John showed up and immediately began to address the myriad of issues ranging from cementing floor gaps in the basement to repairing a security door and patching the kitchen ceiling that had water damage. He was talented and very reasonably priced.

Kept social distance and kept mask on the hold time on the job. John installed a vanity which was a little to big for the space. But John made it work. I would highly recommend John, if you want a job done right the first time call john you want regret it.
