"I wold like to address the comment on the moldings when I go and do a home estimate I always tell the customer they will have to touch up the moldings after we are done our machines have butt right up against them so they get scuffed. Now I would like to address the plastic we always put up plastic and while doing it we ask the customer if they need to get in there before hand, and if they go in once the plastic is placed it will not property adhere to the wall again due to now there is dust from the sanding. As for not getting into the corners there was a wall unit there that we were not able to get underneath to get to the corners. When we came to do the work this wall unit was wrapped up so good we were not even able to see the actual unit. The customer never called me and told me that the mirror was broken on this unit, I am only finding this out through this comment. And the saddles are never removed unless we are installing new ones. The actual problem here is that the husband wanted to change the color after we stained it, and then his wife was not around till the end of the job to see the color and she flipped out on the husband in front of me and my workers saying she wanted a floor that showed more white then just a tint of white which is what the husband instructed us to do."
"When I went into the job for the estimate I asked the customer if she wanted the closet done. She said no. Then after the job was completed she then asked if we can do the closet. And I did tell her we have a minimum charge. We would have to travel back there again and re-set up all the machines wait there for the coatings to dry and then pack up while I have men on payroll . If the customer would have said something while we were there I would have done it no charge."
"We install floor for the customer so we remove the old moulding . We would have reinstall the old moulding but she thought that we were going to install New moulding . I showed the customer in the proposal it stated that we would be reinstalling the old moulding after pointing that out to the customer she then decided to go with new moulding . Even though it did NOT fit into the schedule we still accommodatet the customer . Iasked her if she was having the place painted she said yes . I told to have the painter caulk the top of the moulding. Customer was very happy with the job . WAS NOT HAPPY SHE HAD TO PAY FOR NEW MOULDING ."
"The customer had plastic over the entire wall almost down to the floor he had it all spot taped he did not tape it all the way down the seems so the dust wouldn't get in . I recommended to him not to put the tape down to the floor because it would be harder to remove the tape after we are all done and he would still have to paint because the stain will still get under the tape in areas and through the tape in areas . I recommend to all customers to paint after where the guys coming in with the MACHINS that have to get right up against the edge and where the guys that have to make the coloring look even up against the edge . PS. Customer insisted on using his own material ."
