John was very communicative from the beginning, he explained the work and what needed to be done very clearly. He was accurate with the timing of how long things would take, and gave a reasonable estimate that was the final price. He was very professional and always kept us informed of the entire process. When you have water leaking from your roof, it’s very nerve wracking, because he explained exactly what was happening, and what he would do to fix it, and guaranteed his work, I felt confident that the work would be done well. He shared photos with us before, and after. Recommend him for roofing work!

Flat, Foam, or Single Ply Roofing - Install or Replace
After a big storm we had a leak in the roof and John came out. Quickly assess the roof and did a had to a roof replacement. The team worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done fast including pooling permits.

I have never used this contractor. The kind of work was submitted online. It was a situation where immediate work was needed. He was one of the first to call and was readily available to come to the site to inspect the needed work. In fact, he came in about 1-1.5 hours. Worked was initiated in a day or two. Due to high heat work was done by 1 pm on some days and one day not at all. The work was completed to my satisfaction. I was able to go to the roof to inspect the work. I would have preferred to pay by zelle but the contractor insisted he should be paid by check. Could not attach photos. as a senior female I felt comfortable with the contractor.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I am extremely disappointed. My deck was painted less than two years ago, and it already needs to be completely redone. The contract clearly states, "All labor and material guaranteed 5 years on painting work for decks," but the company has not honored that warranty. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I have been unable to get them to honor the warranty.

I got a few quotes, theirs was pretty fair John followed up with what I needed to be done and gave me his input. He sent a crew and they were pretty fast! I hade a new concrete step installed (no Patch up) it looks great, I also had masonary work done on on my front retaining wall and they also power washed it. the stone caps look almost new! the follow up was great and I would recommend them to my friends. also- they gave a 10 year guarantee which i was not expecting. so we will see if I need that..

Flat, Foam or Single Ply Roofing Repair
John responded quickly to my request for a roofer. Our house had storm damage due to a tree falling on the roof, resulting in a major leak and significant water damage inside our upstairs porch. John sent a team to inspect the roof by the afternoon of my request, on a Saturday. Rather than using a drone to "take a look" they went onto the roof to get a good look at the damage. Because more rain was coming in the next couple of days, John considered this an urgent problem, so his crew come out on a Sunday to get the roof repaired! I was pleasantly surprised about that, as it did rain a bit early Sunday before they arrived and more water was coming in. They did a roof overlay on a flat roof. He provided an extended warranty and the cost was roughly on par with other estimates. There has been no leak since the roof was placed. I was happy to hear from the insurance agents who went onto the roof to assess the damage - they felt the job on the roof was "well done".

John and his team did an complete tear down and new flat roof. They also did substantial repairs to my back porch with all new siding. They also also tuck pointed around my whole building. I would recommend them highly for this kind of work.

John and his crew did an excellent job of navigating through inclement weather conditions and challenges. He worked closely with the property manager to ensure he was aware of work starts and stoppages. His crew did an excellent job at tuckpointing the building, leaving the premises clean and debris free.

When John's team did our decks last year, he identified some problems with our concrete stairs and the seals around our home. We had him back this year to rip up our leaking and disintegrating stairs, lay new concrete, fix several limestone bricks around our fence, and to re-seal around the foundation of our house which had leaked. His customer service was --again-- phenomenal, walking us through every step of the process. His team was super communicative, asking questions and letting us know updates throughout the process. They were also quick and efficient - he got us in within the week. They also added another gate for us to keep our dog in the back yard. 10/10 would hire this team again.

John and crew did an excellent job turning our backyard in lot usable space. We had concrete in very bad shape, an old planting bed and a small grass area that would grow very well. John’s crew leveled the whole area, replaced the concrete with pavers and added turf. The whole job took less than a week. Def recommend and would use again.

We hired John Masonry and his crew to complete a pretty large, paved patio and a small deck to access our pool. If you want professional, excellent, and fast work for any of your outdoor projects, look no further, John Masonry is your guy. We contacted John through Angi 's List and John came out the same day, Friday two weeks ago to give us an estimate. We discussed what our best option was to replace our 25-year-old deck that took a large part of our yard up. We decided to have on a paved patio around the pool replacing the old deck and to add a small deck to access the pool. Two days later John had his crew start the demolition of the old deck and his crew started installing the pavers and build the new deck. The project was done quickly just shy of two weeks. John's crew is very hard working, professional, and respectful. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend John's Masonry for any of any of your projects. Mike and Gaby

We were looking to have some work done and John's Masonry filled our needs and then some. They were reasonably priced and were dedicated to getting the job done in a timely manner. We had the following repairs done: Sealing and caulking of the foundation Tuckpointing Repaired/replaced lintels Caulked windows Installed rubberized masonry flashing to prevent water penetration Power washed and sealed the front porch and deck Replaced bricks where needed Treated the efflorescence on the basement walls, scraped, and applied masonry stucco throughout the basement where needed. Painted the basement with loxon masonry paint Dug up a slab of cement to install a drain to fix a pooling of water problem and replaced the entire slab. This team was polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves. John was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them. They also do roofing.

We are so happy with the work that was done by John and his company. Our front steps were in desperate repair. They were severely cracked and the bottom step had become so steep (10?) because the sidewalk had sunk. They replaced all the steps and leveled off the sidewalk as well as washed and sealed the limestone sides. Now they look great. They also finished the job in a timely manner, in just a couple of days. I would highly recommend John and will use him again if need be!
