I had a recommendation for him as a new remodeler but with qualifications to do the work. Another contractor did tile work. I accepted his proposal and the talk was good. Did not always show up. Do not think this was quality work. Had paint on my new tile floor and on new tile in tub area. Had two issues that I requested a return visit. Had been promised to stand by all work within a year. He came once and told me they were fixed but that is not the case. I have repeatedly left messages with no return. He has used pictures on his site without my permission. I would never recommend him to anyone.

I hired Brent Johnson 2/28/18 to replace T1-11 siding on one side of my home including trim boards and other exterior items that needed some attention. I paid him half of the $4000 agreed bid. He showed up with some materials almost immediately, and then informed me that 3 windows were bad and needed to be replaced so I gave him $1400 (again half of total to purchase) to order new Anderson windows. This took us to mid April - I tried repeatedly to schedule him to return, but my emails, texts, and phone messages were not returned. We finally left a voice mail threatening legal action and he returned a text saying he was out of town in Vermont with limited phone service... for 3 weeks? He said he was not comfortable coming back to finish the job and would settle up. That was first week of May... I haven't heard anything from him since. I stopped by his home that was listed on our signed contract and left a note 5/18/18. Received a phone call from a Sarah (hmmm - look at the one and only reviewer's name) that he hasn't lived at the address since February 2018... right around when I hired him. I'm in a much worse situation now because my home exterior leaks worse since he began.

He showed up when he said he was going to. He listened to everything I wanted, and I am happy with the results.
