Johnson's Handyman Service

Mr Johnson advised he couldn t arrive until 12noon but would give me a full days work. He arrived at 1pm and worked until 5:30pm...not a full days work. While painting (which was very slow as he cannot cut in edges because he showed me a hand tremor, so he had to tape at trim and ceiling). The small amount if work he completed was acceptable but at $65.00 an hour, I thought much more would be completed. While working he texted alot and apologized and said his girlfriend was pregnant and having contractions. I asked if he was ok to continue and he said he would stay until 5. Hmmmm, knew what time he would need to respond for contractions. When he left he stated, I need to hurry, I m coaching a basketball game at 6:30. I guess he forgot about the contractions! Honestly, it s difficult to hire reliable contractors in our area, everyone is working. This contractor admitted painting was not his best skill and we had discussed an exterior remodel job that he said he would be happy to bid for me. I have left voicemail and multiple texts to request a bid and a timeline. I have been ghosted - he has not answered me, even to say he is too busy. Just been totally ignored. Would not say he is reliable.

Nathan was the one who showed up. He arrived early and I was so lost in what I needed to do with my deck and had some interior questions for him. He answered everything and was super professional. He is very knowledgeable and was able to actually fix a few odds and ends for me while he was there. I would most definitely hire him again for anything I need done at my house period. My deck was a wreck and it looks brand new and wasn t even that expensive to do. Give this dude your business if you want it done right and with exceptional quality and in a killer time frame.

Nathan seems like a nice guy. Wanted to give him a chance and dissatisfied with the work and end result.Nathan may be okay for a handyman for small project but not for painting and trim work.

Jason missed the first appointment that we'd made and didn't call to let me know he wouldn't be here. I called him and he quickly called me back and explained about a family emergency that required immediate attention. We rescheduled and he called from the road to let me know when he would arrive and he got here exactly when he said he would (5 minutes early). Her is very friendly and super polite. My jobs were not challenging for him but he handled each one professionally. I even asked his advice on a couple of things that I could do for myself and he gladly told me what I know. I had one job that would have extended his time on the job by over an hour and he suggested a different approach that I could handle on my own. I really appreciated his help so much! I will certainly call him again when I need help with projects around the house.

Nathan is knowledgeable and hard working. He had to strip my decks, replace some boards, built a gate and then stain everything. Looks great!

I thought I had hired Nathan only he failed to show up. Not sure where the communication broke down, but he left me high and dry. Or should I say wet. Had a water leak at a rental home and needed help right away. He never showed up and I ended up fixing it myself the next day. Left the tenant without water the entire time.

He very courteous. All around good man. Very Knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Will definitely use his service again.
