JFB construction

Stay far away from this guy. He has no workers. I hired him to do a major renovation project in Del Mar, he came in with a very aggressive bid (Low) and I should have known better. He was on the job for less than 7 days before I had to sever the relationship. He couldn't get more than 3 people working at one time on the project. He demanded unreasonable advances for the work and contract payment schedule that we agreed to. He blamed me for not advancing him payment to why he couldn't get anyone to show up to work. The work he personally did on the finish electrical was done all wrong. He connected live wires to metal junction boxes of can lighting without using any plastic insulators or barriers, which is a major fire hazard. He has zero clue what he's doing.

The worst contractor service - they do not have enough people to accomplish projects properly, plus they do not have the expertise to accomplish big projects. So unless you are looking for rude contractors who will delay and mess up your projects, stay away from this team.

Brad is extremely professional, communicative, and was SUPER responsive to my calls and requests. Not only did he take on my project with enthusiasm, he helped me envision better layouts and options for the overall big picture. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him!

We had to replace an exterior door which seemed like an easy job but the door entry was old and, as normal, not square. Brad replied promptly to our request and came to the house on time. Despite the small difficulties he encountered he installed the new door well. We appreciated his great attitude and highly recommend him. Thank you Brad!

Overcharged hourly rate. Arrived just before 10:30 am and left about 1:45 pm. He charged 5 hours. I requested from Home Advisor someone in 92105 1) because I wanted to help some business in my neighborhood, and 2) because gas is so expensive that businesses might be tempted to add on gas charges . There was no way to check the quality of his work on roof. I should have asked for photos.

Brad Joiner was very committed to get each job done right. He handled a tough plumbing job,and a closet door issue with tenacity until it was done right... excellent attitude.

Messed up most of the jobs I hired him for. Definitely not qualified. Was usually late or never showed up. Had to come back multiple times for simple jobs. Left me with a mess
