Jon Francis Premium Construction Remodeling

Jon Francis was contracted to remodel the master bath including reframing a wall, installing and finishing sheetrock on the walls and ceiling, installing a walk-in shower with cultured marble, and installing a shower panel. Jon required and was paid 2/3 deposit ($3843) to start the job. Jon and crew worked 4 days and did not return to finish the job and would not return any attempts to contact him until I contacted the company from whom he was to source the cultured marble. After nearly a month of trying to reach him, Jon finally accepted my call and said he would come back and finish. I advised him that after his long disappearance, I didn't think that would be possible. I asked him to advise how much he spent of the deposit and to refund the rest. He said I was the seventh customer to fire him that week, but three hired him back because the other contractors in the area were worse than he was. Jon and I discussed the refund 3 times trying to reach and agreement of the amount. He finally said he should refund the whole amount..."that would be the right thing to do." That was in August of 2014 and I'm still waiting for the refund and Jon will not return messages left by phone, text, or email.

The overall project was handled well. The financial cost was reasonable. One small issue was corrected immediately. Mr. Francis is easy to work with & is dedicated to providing quality workmanship. The bathrooms turned out beautifully. I was very happy with the result & would work with him again on future projects.
