We have a couple of doors that are not square as I have an old house. He cut the door too much so there is small gap at the top of a door and an inch gap at the bottom. He got 3 doors done in about 6 hours. Came the next day and it took him 2.5 hours to do ONE door and the door that he did was one that we didn't want replaced. He then left for over 2 hours and when he came back he said he had to go get his truck inspected. Why would you do that on MY time. We had him fix the one door and told him we no longer needed him. We are going to find someone else.

Deck staining job for brand new deck was delayed by weather but more frustrating was his repeatedly showing up late in day, working a few hours, then gone for days, back and repeat. Over four weeks for a four day job. Work quality was good on railing, poor on deck surface. He experienced repeated equipment failures, was supposed to spray deck - unable due to his equipment failures. Finish on deck surface was unsatisfactory - I stopped work at this point. I now have rework and remediation to get done before end of year. This was an expensive lesson disagreeable experience for me. Unfinished project

Contractor misset a fence post causing additional expense for materials to compensate for the error. Then he never showed up to finish the job, which I had to completed myself.

The work was done promptly, at the agreed budget. The work was done well and has stood up over time. He followed-up a couple times to make sure everything was good. Very good to work with. Consulted with us on materials to get us the best results. I had picked out one type of material. My husband's father was in the construction business, so he was very particular on a lot of details. Everything was done to his standards and we even had them back to install an additional 3 french doors. He's been great to work with, quick follow-up and such. We just recently contacted them about a door knob that turned out to be defective; within one day they called me back and they will be replacing it for us. We doubt we could have gotten a better price from anyone else.
