He may be a great metal worker, but he assured me he had wood replacement experience. I believed him(I know, a welding shop for woodwork), he gave me what seemed like a fair estimate for the work. As the work progressed, I saw one screw up after another. He replaced a rotted facia & soffet. The facia is about 2" too short, with a gap where the 2 pieces meet in the center. There are wide gaps around the soffet, sides & ends. The drip molding is pulled away & bent up & 2 corners cut. I now have to repair what I paid to have done to get rid of a lot of places that will allow leaks. If he was honest about his wood experience up front, I would not have hired him. He apparently needed the work and I came out on the short end. Bad experience. He has a nice truck, trailer & tools, but lack of experience. Before he left, he cussed me out to high heaven and played the victim. I'm 86 years old and used to do my own work, I just can't physically do it now, I hope he does well with his shop, as a metalworker / welder though.
