AVOID THIS COMPANY! Rishi D. from New Milford (google him) was contracted to sand and refinish wood floors, paint home interior, install new windows, refinish two bathrooms, fit recessed lighting, fix drywalls, retile kitchen backsplash, install three new exterior doors and some other minor items. Not a single one of these tasks has been completed to a satisfactory standard:Floors Didn t correctly sand floor (did not seem to understand that you need to work through the grits to get to a uniformly fine finish or simply couldn t be bothered), randomly sanded the floor alternating between an orbital sander, drum sander and hand sanders which meant that finish did not adhere properly. He also used 2 gallons of Poly for 1500 sq ft and claimed this was enough for 4 coats. Looked AWFUL. I had to rent a drum sander from home depot and completely redid the job myself. Paint job Terrible. Imperfections and nails just left as is, despite his promises he would skim coat where needed and make look perfect. He did an okay job in one room (so know he is capable of doing this) but then seems he just lost interest and slapped paint on walls in other rooms, leaving patches and insufficient coverage in places. Windows Fitted incorrectly sized windows in bathrooms and padded resulting 0.5 ft gap with pieces of 2x4, didn t even paint the wood so I have bare wood on exterior of house. Other windows not shimmed correctly (so frame is warped) in a few places but otherwise okay. Bathrooms Caused a flood as his guys moved a toilet and ruptured the supply line without knowing where the water shutoff was! Extensive water damage to basement floor below. Promised to take care of damage and didn t (I waited 3 months) so I had to lay 1000 sq ft of basement floor myself. Shower stall not installed correctly, floor not level and spongy and glass doors misaligned (due to not being level) and do not close correctly. Shower valve protrudes past acrylic wall and so cannot fix the valve handle plate correctly he used caulk to stick the plate onto the wall and hide the problem, which has since cracked. Terrible tiling jobs with irregular grout widths (didn t use spacers) and so narrow in some places that grout just falls out of the gaps. Tiles not level. He installed a P-trap at a 45-degree angle - not to code and not effective! He re-installed wall mounted lights without mounting plates, basically just hanging on two nails. Both lights have since fallen off walls, exposing live wiring for which he hasn t even used an electrical box (live wires just poking out of dry wall). DANGEROUS! He also left live wires (240V) completely exposed at floor level in 3 baseboard heaters as he didn t correctly reinstall the metal plate that is supposed to cover the wiring. I have a 4-year old child = RISK OF DEATH. Used the wrong caulk (latex based) to seal counters and fixtures in kitchen and bathrooms. Should have used silicone based caulk as this is sanitary. Exterior doors Despite being pre-hung he messed up installation and doors are not square. He left a ¼ inch gap under main front door which he fixed by installing an additional threshold over the top of the existing one. The back door doesn t even close and cannot be locked! He was supposed to fix an outdoor hose bib. He didn t but lied and told me he did (knew he hadn t as it was snowy and there were no tracks so could see no one had walked over there). I am a first time home-owner. He took advantage of my lack of knowledge at the time. But I m a quick study and now realize how woefully inadequate his work has been.

Punctual, competent and knowledgeable

I was disappointed. did not have knowledge about R value. no knowledge about codes and regulations. and after I gave him down payment did not see him again. Does not return calls or texts. just vanished. So after I posted my review last week Rishi text me with really nasty words and asked me to take the review down or he will have kinda revenge. and he accuse me of this and that. And threatening me in many ways. It was all reported to authority.

It was a huge disappointment, huge. I think he took total advantage of my being disabled and did not give quality materials or quality work.

Very knowledgeable about so many electrical issues we were having that other electricians couldn't figure out. Was able to install an entirely new lighting system into the ceiling and do beautiful ceiling repair! Very skillful, professional, really nice to work with, he does great work, very fair price. I will definitely call him again for electrical or any related handyman/contractor work!!

Excellent company very professional, courteous, crafty and knowledgeable in all aspects of home remodeling, They explain everything throughout the entire process. I don t usually leave reviews but these guys deserve it rich the owner went out of his way To fix my sink which was clog for months and it wasn t even in the contract. I will hire them next to remodel my basement. Thank you guys!!

Very impressed with this company! The price, quality, and customer service were all top-notch. They do it all too... I hired them for one job and ended up asking them to do several others when I found out how talented they were: bathrooms, carpentry, electrical, remodeling, plumbing... They do it all! Excellent contractor!

Your project could be harder then it looks and they leave you with uneven and unfinished work. Now I have to be finish and fix.

Wonderful Work! Quick Service as well! All problems need to be repaired, were treated wonderfully. I also had a few un known problems that were taken care of for me, before a later time in which a problem might surface.

Very responsive, punctual, courteous and reasonable price.He installed the Kitchen backsplash and under counter lights. Great job! He is coming back to place 6 tiles in the hallway bathroom. Need to shop for the exact tiles. I will not hesitate to call him back for these jobs I need done in my house. Prioritizing a list.
