Joseph Portanova Landscaping

Even though theyâ ve only come once, they did a great job so far. Cleaned up, seeded spots, turned all the beds & mowed. My property looks great so far!

I have two major complaints about Joseph Portanovas services: 1) the way he bills clients and 2) his crews carelessness. Firstly, Joseph Portanova kept adding services that we did not order. He sent us a bill in January 2021 with an additional charge of $470 + taxes despite the fact that a) we had not ordered these services and b) he had broken our patio glass door two months prior. From 2018-2019, he billed us for lawn treatments that we were never able to verify via notifications (no flags/notes placed at lawn/door after treatment). We ended up with a yard full of weeds for two summers in a row. We even had to contract another service to rectify the weed-situation that had broken out. Moreover, his crew broke our storm door in 2019 as well as several of our gardens water pipes. This past summer, when his crew mowed our lawn, their carelessness caused several rocks to fly and hit our neighbors windows. I have had to deal with many problems since contracting Joseph Portanova--I would not wish anyone else to experience these same grievances.

Charges you more than owe ,keeps adding services without consent.

Very reliable, professional and very responsive

We needed mulching and spring cleanup for our yard. The owner is very responsive and followed up personally after service was complete to address any questions or requests. They were very efficient and professional. We plan to have them continue with regular lawn maintenance.

Joe was prompt and did an excellent job

We just hired Joe. It was great that he was able to jump in and get started right away because our landscaper of the past 2 years had become very unreliable and we had an urgent situation that needed to be addressed. So far, Joe is enthusiastic and had a good sense of what needed to be done.

This company is always on time. Sometimes you have to remind them to clean behind bushes & shrubs, but overall the service is very good. The price is fair & the owner calls you back personally to resolve any issues. That's good service!

Did a good job on a leaf cleanup of my yard.

I hired Joe Portanova for monthly lawn care, spring clean up, and also to clean my gutters. They did the spring clean up, gutters, and about a month of raking/mowing the lawn. I've been very pleased with the job that they've done so far and would definitely recommend them to others.

Fast, clean, cheap, in time

A decent job for a fair price.

Anticipating a huge snowstorm, I called Joe and her returned my call within 1/2 hour. Understanding that he must have had an enormous list, he said he would be able to plow within 24 hours Ultimately I did not need his services, since a neighbor was kind enough to clear the near 2 feet that day. However, should a snow emergency occur again, I would not hesitate to contact him,

According to my request via web site, he responded very rapid.(he called me soon) That's why I hired Joe. Their job was careful and prompt. I like it.
