Jose's Drywall

Knew what had to done and did it . Didn't finish which at the time wasn't their fault. However, when I called them to finish the job got a promise they would be back but never showed up and didn't call. Also, didn't finish patching one wall but was paid for it.

Efficient, professional finish, reliable at a reasonable price. I've flipped houses for 7 yes and can finally say I found my drywall company.

Completed the job quickly, cleaned up nicely and the work quality was great. Would definitely recommend.

Contractor was at site about 5 hours. Left and once called to say he would come by on Saturday to check attic several days and I assumed to finish if problem no longer existed. NEVER SHOWED OR CALED

Came out right away and got started. Job looked good, my mistake was paying the balance before going over everything. After priming I noticed several spots with poor workmanship. Texted Jose, no response at first until pressing him. Finally promised to come back three different times. Postponed twice and ghosted the third time. Do not hire.

They did an excellent job. They know what they're doing, and they take their time. with the situation and do it just right too. Of drywalling. The drywalling it was excellent. Patching up a crack, it was Excellent, I bet excellent what they're doing in the drywall area and also Fixing a hole in the kitchen, and they rebuild it. and put new tile ceilings and did an excellent job. Too. I was very impressed with both. two persons, of course.

He did everything. It's level, he took his time, and he stayed until it was done right. I want him to come back for another job.

Did a great job and was prompt.

We had a sump installed and needed to re-install sections of the drywall. The job was completed quickly (less than one day). Team took care with the clean up after the job was completed. In addition to dry wall work, they do remodeling, etc. I would definitely contact Jose’s for another project.

Great to deal with when getting an estimate. Came to see project and was told I would receive an estimate soon. Did not receive ?when I reached out to get it resent, I was told I would receive. I also texted and provided an alternate email address as a back up. Did not receive. Such a shame because Jose was really pleasant and I was looking forward to giving him my project.

I removed tile from my walls not knowing the disaster I was creating. Jose and his team left my walls looking brand new. They cleaned up every day and were very courteous and polite. Definitely job well done. They started and finished in no time. Will definitely hire again.

I asked for a 2 week job completion on 4/11 & Jose was at my home within hours to estimate the job! His price was completely fair & was completed on 4/18. They did a great job. My ceiling looks great and they got the job done very quickly.

My kitchen was plywood and studs. They came in and worked wonders. I didnt see them take one break. They ate lunch on the job. They are very nice, especially if you're an older person who had a different experience with another company. Stayed on it until they finished. Really nice men. I was comfortable being alone with them. I highly recommend their company.

Despite being a few hours late, the work was very quick, professional and looks great.

We had a little misunderstanding from the original quote provided over text messages and the paper, handwritten contract provided at the day they start. The estimated text to me provided in quotes "Estimate will be for removing ceiling and soffit. Installing new baffle insulation, installing new 1/2 drywall, taping mud and sand. No painting. I will do a price including materials and without materials. I will have it ready by tomorrow morning." The main reason for me to start this project is to remove the soffit in the kitchen and get new celling. In my mind for a person not a expert in construction this means soffit it the kitchen will be gone. In the paper, handwritten contract Jose put a soffit (and the remove 1 soffit in only on one side in the kitchen). My kitchen is L shape, but left the soffit on the other side and start finishing up the celling. I told them that the soffit needs to go as well, the they start argue, that this is not included in the estimate, that my husband told them, (he didn't again this is the main purpose of the project, we hate soffit).Then José 'dad start asking to see the contract, and said that they are leaving and that we are going to court. At that point I prepaid 50% of the project, my kitchen is tear apart, no celling and half of the soffit).Going to court is ok with me, but we will spend more time and money, and my kitchen is already without celling, I have to find someone else to finish and I didn't expect from them to treating me to walk away after demo started. Then I asked them how much they want to finish the project. The dad say $500, Jose asked for $400. I agree to pay extra $400, signed a new handwritten contract and they finish the job. FyI: In the second paper handwritten contract Jose put 2 soffits, and I did ask for the celling just to make sure I am not going to get 1/2 celling. I never see anyone doing this, it felt we are in school the kitchen, soffit or a soffit or soffits. After all the job is finished on time as promised, the extra money were also included a little electrician work to hide 2 cables ,who were inside the soffit and move a fan (free of chargeð . ALSO, they did a little accident on the other wall,( a small hall on my dining room wall which was with a wallpaper)but they fixed it. At the end the job is done on time, quick and as promised, but with extra money and negotiations and unnecessary stress. I choose to pay and have them finish the project, since they are all ready here, not going to court, spend more time and money. Going to court is not going to fix the issue with my kitchen, since demo had started. I appreciated the hard work, but treats leave in the middle of the project and treats going to court by his dad , it is unnessassary stress. Overall if you remove these ssues, they did a nice job, finish on time and start as promised. Quality of the work is good.
