I highly de-recommend Josue (Josh) and this company. The damages during the last 3 months experiences dealing with Josue and Orellana Construction has brought to us is not just significant financial damages, we also suffered from lost 3 months (delay of remodeling of our house as they left everything unfinished), emotional drainage dealing with Josh countless lies and ridiculous excuses. It has been a super stressful, nightmare-like experience to deal with a contractor like Josue Orellana, who does not know the basic practices of construction work, and who ignores LA city codes and basic quality standards, and who is lack integrity and in the absolute absence of honesty, and who refuses to take any pride in what he says or what he does. Josue (Josh) lied to us to pull the electrical and plumbing permits we asked for, but he pulled the permits with the intended wrong scope of work, and he never requested any inspection. He left us to deal with the big mess situation. We paid upfront for each phase, but Josh did not finish any paid jobs, even worse, he did not pay his subcontractors, instead, he directed these people to us for payment. We had to turn help to the contractor board and legal services for help. Hope no other homeowners will have to repeat our experiences.

Josh and his crew have an amazing eye for detail! Prior to the fabrication of our countertops, they noticed a problem in the veining that would not look good upon installation. Josh helped us select new slabs. The counters look gorgeous and the tile backsplash with mosaic insert is beautiful. We are 100 percent satisfied with the quality of the work and will definitely use them again on additional projects.

A stucco leak led to a mold issue and I needed a contractor to repair the wall and rebuild the entire kitchen. Orellana construction did a great job on the wall and the kitchen, which looks amazing now. They are always just a call or text away and really stand behind their work.

Very skilled, prompt, friendly, and professional. I would definitely use their services again. I had them put in a sidewalk that wrapped from my driveway, up around the house and to the back patio. It looks great! I've already hired them again to patch the deteriorating exterior of my chimney.
