Sod Installation
I patiently worked with Josh for four months trying to get him to provide sod that was not contaminated by fungus, what i believe any consumer who has their sod replaced, deserves. I was unsuccessful. So I finally decided to use other means to have him honor the warranty of our contract, to this date five months later, I have been unsuccessful. Only now I think it is right that I submit this review to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Hire at your own risk.

Lawn and Garden Sprinkler System Repair
Josh is a fire fighter in south Walton County. He is very responsive and tries to adequately repair sprinkler systems as inexpensively as possible. He was able to repair my lawn pump for only $60 which is far less than what I was facing (and expecting) if I had replaced the pump.

Sod Installation
Josh was very particular about getting the best quality Zoysia sod and it was worth waiting an extra week. His installation team did an excellent job & his instructions for getting the grass established were very clear and helpful. He included tuning the sprinklers and replacing some broken heads in the original estimate. The grass look so nice that my neighbors are hiring him to do their yard.

Josh removed my old grass and replaced it with Zoysia. He also "tuned" up my sprinklers. I would definitely recommend !!!

Josh is a nice enough guy, but tells you what you want to hear. I outlined where I wanted grass, and where the pool would be. He installed the sprinklers to where they would not water everything. I also asked him to level the yard prior to laying the sod. He said they did that as they laid the sod. It is terrible! Yard is not even close to level, you feel all the holes as your mowing. I had to fix all the sprinklers and added a few to get all my flower beds. Now that the job is done and paid for, I sent him an email stating that I had a spot that was dying. He said he would be over to take a look at it, that was two weeks ago. I would not recommend him, or Home Advisor! I hired him based on your company recommended him!

"I am sorry Bob is disappointed with his lawn. Bob and I agreed on terms and a price for his project. After starting the project Bob decided to have several stumps ground in his backyard (his cost and supervision). A couple spots near where the stumps were removed had some remaining "running roots". We did good job of leveling around where these roots were but there was not fill dirt on the additional quote so we had to work with what we had. My guess is that these are the "bumps" (very small) he has found. Bobs lawn is beautiful to this day and is by far the nicest lawn in his neighborhood. Mr Williams repaired my sprinkler system. He did what no one else would do & did an outstanding job! He was on time & had the system running in no time at all ! I would recommend him to anyone !

Mr. Williams replaced our frozen irrigation pump and motor, and re-plumbed the sector switch water input. Our impression is that he is completely competent, and that he uses only the best quality parts/components available. He was here when he said he would be, and that is refreshing, too. His price was a bit higher than I anticipated, but then I'm still stuck in 1990 prices for pumps and things. Nevertheless, his price was significantly lower than another HomeAdvisor competitor's quote. We are very satisfied with his work. SBD
