Journey Home Restoration and the owner and Chief Executive Officer, Jason Kaczur, came to our church last fall and did a presentation. Said that for each church member that worked with them would save the church $500 in repairs. They did the whole, ?We evaluate your home for damage for free and work with your insurance company to get it covered.? I signed up to get my dad?s house checked (he passed away in August 2024). In October I got 2 checks that I signed over for a total of around $19,000. Since October, I haven?t heard from anyone. I?ve called, left voicemails, and texted and I?ve gotten no response back. The office number?s voicemail box is full. My church, The Church on the Blvd, also signed up to work with Journey Home Restoration at the recommendation of another church. Over $100,000 of checks were signed over to them. They came briefly over winter to begin replacing the roof, but never completed it. As a result, there is severe water damage to the building now. This company took all the insurance money almost a year ago and they haven't done the repair work. I reached out to them several times and they never return a call and now their voicemail is full. I reached out to other who hired them and they are having the same issues.

Trying to get communication from Journey Home Restoration is nightmarish. We originally had them out in early 2023 to look at our roof after winter storm damage caused a leak. It took until late July of 2023 for them to install the new roof, after having to follow up with their project manager multiple times to get updates, along with them losing details of what we wanted and having to tell them multiple times what color shingles we had ordered. The install went long and they left debris, but at least we had the roof. However, we had a leak that they mostly-fixed in a different location after install - but we still have a slow leak after more than a year of trying to get them to come out and properly fix the situation. We have left several voice mails because they rarely pick up their phones, we have sent emails without a response back, have gotten called by confused painters and once the receptionist, and not actually talked to project managers or the owners despite requesting t

Journey Home Restoration did a great job replacing my roof. The crew was very professional and friendly. Did a great job cleaning everything up when done. My contact person Chris always kept me informed and updated to everything going on with the insurance claim and everything he was doing. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Insurance process is scary but they helped the whole way through and handled everything for me. I would recommend them to anyone whoâ s asks!
