I feel Service Magic is a ripoff to contractors, all it cares about is taking our money, regardless if the leads are legit. Most weren't. I thought I canceled my account, but my profile is still here. Most Service Magic "customers" are just "looky lou's" or "tire kickers." The majority of the people who do need work done use service magic to beat down the contractor. When I tried to cancel, the account rep wouldn't let me, he passed me to his supervisor who then tried to lecture me about how I needed to run my business. All I wanted to do was quit being ripped off and they didn't take it very well. Once their hand is in your pocket they hate to lose that free money. I am really glad to be done with those schmucks.

Sump Pump Repair or Replace
Prompt, I had a Soft Water System installed, very knowledgeable, friendly, prompt. However, I asked him back to replace a faucet, he did so however his cost went up 33% higher than the quote.

"What the customer doesn't say is that the first faucet, that he ordered, was the wrong one, and I had to make two trips. Also, he stiffed me on the final bill."

Jeff was a pleasure to watch work; He seems to be professional. When I buy a new water heater for my home, he said he will return to install it along with an outside water faucet. When he's done, I'll report back. Jeff did a great job on the heater but the outside faucet leaked like crazy shortly after he left. I had to take it all apart myself and redo it. Water leaked from around the handle. The washer inside the handle was busted.
