Veteran Drywall

Jason was very informative, worked hard, did what was requested. He cleaned the work area. It all looks very nice.

I had Jason Miller from Veteran Drywall contact me about applying texture to a partial area in my garage. Jason said I was located out of his way but that if he had another call in the area he would get back with me, which he did. Jason came out I also asked him about my patio ceiling that had some areas where the tape needed to be repaired. Not a big job at all. I was told by him that he would have to make an estimate and he would call me with it. When he looked at the garage job he said there were places where the drywall mud was rough and had to be taken down which would cost me another $100.00 if he did it and he was charging me $200.00 already. I guess he didn't think I could do as I am a 77 yr old female. I told him I would do it and he said that he would go to the other job he came out here to check on and then come back and do this. I did what was needed to be done. When he came back he proceeded to do my garage. Jason told me when he came back that he did not get the other job because the women was having problems with her insurance company. Jason started the job in the garage. When he finished the ceiling looked all white as I stepped out in the garage by the house door. I paid him $200.00 cash. . A couple of days later I went in the garage and found a total messed up job There are places up to 6 & 7" from the walls where there is nothing but drywall showing. There are many spots the size of a silver dollar, that have nothing but drywall showing throughout the whole job. The whole area that he did is a complete mess. There is texture all over things including the garage door, the wall, the floor, rolled carpet that was in there and the garage door opener spring. There are places where he never put texture at all. The texture must have been too wet because there is very little texture showing at all. There is a big difference when it is dry. I did not hear from him with the estimate for the patio and I knew then he was not going to call me again because he knew what he did in the garage. I waited a couple of days. I called and asked him first about the estimate for the patio (which I would have never had him do after seeing the garage). I didn't want him to think I wasn't going to use him for that job. Believe it or not he said "it is expensive....I have to charge you $600,00. I did not comment on the price at all as I wanted the garage problem taken care of. I then told him there was a problem with the garage where there was nothing but drywall showing. Jason said "that is because it was not painted". I said "none of it was painted" and with that he hung up the phone on me. When I tried to call back his phone went to msg/mailbox is full. I tried a couple of time and got the same thing. I believe Jason knew that what he did was wrong. If that ceiling needed to be painted he should have told me and I could have spray painted when he went to check on the other job. I know he figured he didn't get the other job and he came out of his way to come to this town so he was going to make some money from me to make it worth his trip to this town. I guess he was very unhappy about the other big job so he was not happy at all. That was not a reason to take advantage of me. I will hope this will be taken care by Angi and hope this prevents someone else from having a problem like this. I know he is from the Carolinas and he came down here after the hurricane to make money but he should not take advantage of people in the process. I will be waiting for resolution to this soon. Jason showed up for the job but after two hours, he left and did not return. We called him the next day and he hung up on us.

Jason showed up and gave us a great estimate. He showed up the on the scheduled and and began the prep for the job, and then he left without saying anything. We thought maybe he was going to Home Depot, but he never returned. My husband called him, left a message, and he called back. Unfortunately when he knew it was not new business, he hung up on my husband. I wish he would have at least let us know that he was leaving and not finishing the job. Luckily he didn't get any up-front money, so we were not out anything that way. Now were are working on the project ourselves.

Jason is very polite, trustworthy, honest, cleans up after himself, very careful working around household objects, very far. Most of all he is very knowledgeable and an artist at his work. You will not be sorry with his work or with Jason.

We had water stains and section of sagging tape in our ceilings from hurricane driven rain thru attic vents. He repairedtape and retextured the repair to match the ceiling. Spotted spots with oil based paint and then used paint we supplied to give coat of paint only over spots. Ceiling looks perfect and cannot detect where repaired.

Jason did a great job overall, and was able to blend in the ceiling patch work with the rest of the ceiling.

I feel very lucky to have gotten my ceilings repaired from roof leak. Could not get any other company to call me. All others donâ  t answer the phone theyâ  re too busy. Some didnâ  t even show up. The job is done it looks fabulous. He was very Polite. Did his job. Awesome!

Jason respond as soon as I got his info. He was very professional when we gave him the information to the job and he gave us a quote within 10 minutes. We scheduled him for a couple days later and he showed up on time and did a great job. Terrific texture work!

Jason did an amazing job on not only repairing drywall but blending the paint to the point no one even noticed the repair. He also blended an area that had a water stain, three times because he didn't like the way it came out the first two times. Great attention to detail! Jason is a veteran and I hired them for a couple of drywall repairs at our home. He is easy to schedule, very responsive to texts, and quotes the price upfront.
