Life Grading/Remodeling/Landscaping

I am extremely unhappy with the patio extension we just got. We paid $1500 to Life Grading/Remodeling/Landscaping for Miguel to extend our existing patio. He showed up HOURS later than expected both times he came out to work, the extension doesn't sit flush with the original, it's not flat, the edges are ugly, he didn't seal it like he said he would, he left wooden stakes in the ground, he left trash outside my neighbor's house (and when called out for it said he thought they wouldn't see it), he got concrete dust all over my existing patio, rug, and furniture, and then he stopped responding to texts and calls. We asked if we could pay him with a credit card, and he said no, so we gave him a check, and by the time he vanished, he had already cashed it. It's now going to cost us twice that much AGAIN to rip up his terrible job and have it redone right

Miguel tries to say all the right things to get you to give him business . I hired him to do a hardscape project on front and rear of my home. He cut corners with materials, did not remove the turf in areas for plan beds and laid gravel over existing grass (Now I will have maintenance nightmare going forward) He gave me a total quote for project which I thought was reasonable and then wanted to break it into little projects. I paid him for the work done and was thinking that it would even out with completion of the patio and wall. He never gave me the final quote for patio and then ghosted me for 5 days with no reply. I would never recommend his service to anyone. It is true what they say You get what you paid for, In my case I got overcharged for simple landscape with no intention to finish the job. Poor Business man and lack of Integrity. Buyer beware!

Every time it rained hard, I got water about 2 feet high in my garage. Miguel and his guys graded certain areas around my house for water to flow towards my woods in the backyard. I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!
