Juan The Handyman

Was hired by my nana to do flooring, a shut off valve in her shower, a new wax ring for her toilet, and a vanity install. He is absolutely unprofessional and a piss poor excuse of a worker. He has since left the job incomplete and is ignoring her completely. After stealing $900 dollars from her , who is on a fixed retirement income and couldn?t afford this as is, and leave her screwed. We?ll be seeing Juan in small claims!

he undependable, he is not responded he is rude, he is very disable, because he was not assigned in this appt but he show up.

I would not recommend him. He is not a man of his word, the quality of his work is terrible, he got paint all over and left all his equipment outside, and I had to clean up, he did not finish my fireplace and used 2 different colors of paint. Overall I had a terrible experience. Do not hire this guy, He does not do a good job and is not to be trusted!

We hired Juan to paint the exterior of our house for an agreed amount which he wanted to be paid in full the night before the job. I hesitated in doing that because I was not sure if he was going to show up. Once he showed up I double-checked that the job was only going to take 1 day to finish, he said yes, if not he would be back the following morning to finish. I vemnoed him the entire signed contract amount against my better judgment. He and his helper started to paint, he left the job site to go get paint thinner and was gone for over an hour. The next thing I know, he is gone again for over an hour and a half because he needed a new paint sprayer. My house is not finished, what was finished looks horrible in my opinion, it rained and what he painted had bubbled up. When my husband questioned him about painting in the rain he assured my husband that he was using quality paint and rain would not be an issue. Later that night we questioned him about finishing the next day because the rain was in the forecast again and got no reply until the following morning at the time he was supposed to start painting again. At that time, we expressed we were not happy with the job that he was performing and he became aggressive and stated that to finish the job, he was raising the price and would not finish until he got more money. He stated that he was going to come and pick up his equipment because he needed it for another job that he had later that night and once he found out we contacted to see what our choices were because we were not satisfied with his work, he told us to take him to court and that he was not going to finish the job and we were not getting our money back.

Started the project, did not keep a consistent schedule says he is going to show up then would not, and then shows up whenever he feels like it without communicating. He painted all of the exterior trim, front door, and garage door with interior paint. There is over drips all over the door. He patched a few holes on stucco, it looks so bad that it looks like someone who has never done it before could do a better job. Got paint on the vinyl siding, gutters, cameras, ac unit, fence, plants, light fixtures and pavement. If I could post pictures I would. Save yourself the headache and do not make the same mistake I did. Now I have to pay to have everything redone.

Did not fully finish the project. Unable to reach him after, trying to complete.

He came in yesterday for 4 hours for measuring, he did measuring on Friday and started working on the wood yesterday, he had to leave, he did not have the right tools, and he was supposed to come today at 9 and came at 10:30 and not complete the project.
