The electrician charged $150 when PECO man who was already there rectified the problem. He did not do any work! Also the business card claims "FREE ESTIMATE & SENIOR DISCOUNT" . I was told the charge is more because the electrician had to travel from some far off place in DE and that too at out-of-time rate wnen I actually called himfor service during noon time and he came at 6 PM.

"In response to the above rating - I asked if he checked with PECO to see if anyone else had a problem. He said he needed an electrician. I spoke with him twice and my secretary spoke with him once for directions. I also spoke with him several times trying to satisfy his complaint and also gave him a "Free estimate" for upgrading his service that he asked me to do. He was also given a discount on the emergency call and I explained that. I have been more than fair and I cannot and will not knock down my price any more him. He did not call and say PECO rectified the problem which he could have at anytime on my way there."

The price was not the cheapeast. However the duration of work was shorter and there was greater flexibility with the hours of when he could do the work. A separate painter needs to come back on another day to patch holes in drywall, and I need to get that scheduled. They worked fairly cleanly and fixtures were set well. Work done March 2010.

Kevin was punctual and freindly. Was able to install a power line and switch for my garbage disposal, and a light box over my sink in under two hours. Price was good, and I would recommend them and use them again.

I found that KB Electric was quick to respond to my call and once on-site they found a cost-effective solution to my electrical problem during the initial assessment. In addition, KB Electric provided electrical tips for other potential trouble spots in the house at no cost as part of their service. Overall their service was outstanding and I would recomend KB electric for all your electrical needs.
