"Work was completed. 3/4 of the way through of laying tile the homeowner and his wife walked on the tile while it was still wet after we left. The grout hadn't dried yet when they walked on it. Upon arrival in the morning there were several foot prints that were done after we left. The customer then advised that he wanted the tile torn out and replaced. The customer was advised that they had walked on it and that he was going to be charged additionally. Customer continued to have the rest of the house tiled. When we came to the end the homeowner became very aggressive screaming and cursing because we would not correct that time at out expense. The customer took me to small claims court and lost. He also filed a complaint with the BBB which was also closed out and unfounded."
"Our company responded to the customers residence due to toilet running continuously. The float in the back of the toilet was adjusted so the toilet would not continually run. The customer signed a work order stating satisfaction of work complete and paid. After leaving the customers residence he contacted us back and advised that the toilet was not working. We went back out to the customers residence again and adjusted the float again. The toilet was working properly. A video was taken of the toilet working properly, flushing properly, and no ongoing running. The customer called again and advised that his toilet was now " Ghost Flushing" itself. He advised that it would just flush all by itself. We offered to go back to his residence and replace all the guts in the toilet but was advised that we were currently on a job that it would be towards the end of the day before we could get back out there. The customer became angry and wanted us to come right then. It was explained to the customer that we were in the middle of another job and could not just leave in the middle of it, The customer bacame angry and advised that was not sufficient he wanted us to come right now. The customer then hung up the phone. The following day the customer called Home Advisor to complain. Home Advisor reached out to our company. While I was on the phone with Home Advisor speaking with the specialist, my husband called the customer and confirmed with him that we did offer to come out yesterday at the end of the day and replace all the guts in the toilet. The customer agreed that we did offer that, but he did not want to wait until the end of the day. The specialist heard the conversation. So at this time Home Advisor is handling this call."
"First and foremost the homeowner wanted to micromanage every move I made. First of all there was an easement located behind their residence that was a RIGHT OF WAY,!!! The villages owned it, no 1 neighbor or individual. The customer decided I could not drive on the Right of Way to get behind her residence to be able to get the tree actually out. The home owner wanted me to utilize my chain saw in the dirt. When I told the homeowner I was not using my chain saw in the dirt, he got upset. There was no mess left behind because all I did is removed dirt from where the tree was located. The dirt was actually scooped up in 5 gallon buckets and dumped in the bed of the truck. There was rocks, dirt, and other objects in the area of the tree when I arrived. So the property was left in the same fashion as it was when I arrived on scene. As far as the fee's, yes there are scheduled fees's with every home advisor contact. Home Advisor automatically charges my business account for every lead that comes in, irregardless if its a good lead, or no lead at all. There was absolutely no mess left. Photograpgs were taken before and after. This customer is blatently being vindictive. My work reviews proves this."
