KC Appliance Repair sent a technician who identified himself as Justin Gandy whose business card identified his company as America's Best Appliance, LLC. He was to repair my dishwasher. He found that the timer was defective and asked for $95 deposit for the part. I gave him a check on 1Sep09, he deposited it 4Sep09. On 8Sep09 he informed me that the part was discontinue and he had thrown away the old part. I then requested he bring back my check or the $95. After repeated excuses no $95.

Justin was prompt in responding to my e-mail, followed by a phone call. He was able to provide service the same day, in the evening. He is extremely knowledgable and honest!!! The very next day he returned to fix my washing machine. Everything works great, and I will reccomend him to anyone who needs an appliance repair!!!

Justin Gandy's wife returned my call placed with this company and later confirmed my appointment. Justin was late by 2 hours but called to explain he had auto trouble. He arrived on 8/13, diagnosed the problem, explained it, came back that night and repaired it. I paid him $300 for parts & labor + a 2-yr warranty. As of Tuesday, the same problem occurred and the machine has failed. I left messages for him, for Mark, explained my problem to Service Magic and have received no return phone calls. I am very upset and dissatisfied. I want a Service Magic rep to call me ASAP at 816-585-7008

Doesn't respond to email/VM. Poor customer service.

I was very disappointed in this contractor. He was a nice person, but he had no idea what he was doing and he was not honest enough to tell me that. I wish he had just said, I don't know and not charged me for his service.

He called to reschedule the appointment andthn did not show up to do the work.

He called at the time he was supposed to start the work and simply told me to go through the warranty people who made my Jenn Air convection oven/microwave, he never bothered to make the service call. I thought was unprofessiohal

The technicians were out the morning following our request, and our washing machine was fixed quickly and cost effectively!

They were great! They came on a Saturday with no extra charge and within a few hours of my call my washer was fixed. They were friendly and professional and did a clean job and my washer has worked great since. I would recommend them to anyone.

Although Justin seemed quite reliable and knowledgable at first, he consistently failed to show up for promised work. He seemed truly penitent after we posted a negative review and he led us to believe that he would try hard to improve his reliability. He seems to have an excellent work ethic, despite this, and has an agreeable personality. I hope he will honor his two year warranty.

I really appreciated the quick service. They completed the job within a few hours. They were very knowledgable.

Justin visited us for a refrigerator repair. He was on time, friendly, honest, thorough and efficient. He told us it could be the switch that controls the compressor, but that if it wasn't we might as well get a new refrigerator. Upfront with his pricing, we proceed to replace the switch, which was indeed the problem. While there, he made a small repair to our washing machine for a small additional fee, and also put the handle back on the freezer door. I was impressed and would recommend him and his team to anyone.

They did a great job fitting us into their busy schedule on short notice. Very professional and timely. The repairs needed were explained very well. We are very happy with the result and would definitely call them back for future work.

Repaired problem with washer the same day I called in a very timely manner. Warrantied the entire washer for two years.

Dont be dumb like I was and pay before the job is finished, my electric stove went out . I couild never collect my money I had paid nor get the stove repaired. I had to go through service magic to get the money refunded to me after two months time. NEVER NEVER use them, they changed their phone numbers on me numerous times to avoid me. they also slop up your floor and not clean it up. greasy mess all over.

They were on time and friendly--fixed our fridge and we are back up and running
