I needed the chain link fencing lowered so the next door dog could not get under. The dog acted like it wanted to fight my dog. Steve did an excellent job and relieved me of my worrys especially after he explained what he did. Thank you Steve

The man came out to fix my gate and install a motion solar light. He put the solar light in the roof. I had to have him take it off and put it on the side of the house. The gate he only put the screws on the inside of the gate to brace it he did not put them in the outside of the gate. I had to have someone else do that. So I was charged $175.00 and not a good job. His communication was excellent and coming when he said he would

Steve did what other contractors failed at doing. I would not hesitate to hire him again. Got it done, on time, price as quoted.

Steve did multiple small projects for me, all to my exacting standards. A rather amazing example. I just purchased a newly renovated house, but removed several cabinets and did some drywall work. In the process, a swath of floor was found to be unfinished. I had three estimates from wood floor contractors, all of So whom told me I would have to sand and re stain the entire room(s). Steve went out an bought a piece of white oak, took a small piece of shoe from a closet and purchased stain. He went home and experimented with various varnishes until he matched my existing floor. Then tented the area, hand sanded the edges, and hand stained the floor and shoe. For a fraction of the expense and for me, most importantly, a miniscule amount of mess and disruption, I've got a pretty excellent floor match. He worked really hard to make this work, and it did. 5 stars for effort and results.

Steve completed a small job for me replacing some cedar siding and trim along with rewiring an electrical outlet. He did a nice job and was glad I was able to connect with him on this project.

I previously reviewed Steve with an excellent rating, however this last project required him to remove a shower stall and tile. The craftsmanship was poor as was the customer service. I unfortunately can longer use him.

Steve came when he said he would and began work promptly. He installed an exterior door for us and did a very nice job at a fair price. I would probably hire him again. He made one very racist comment that bothered us but we didn't comment to him about it so I guess it didn't bother us enough to do that. We should have.

On Steve s first phone contact with me he explained how he would do my job (installing a pet door) and he asked me questions so that everything was clear. He quoted a price on the phone and called me back when he said he would to confirm the appointment. I was most impressed with the quick response to my Home Advisor search and how Steve followed through on phone calls and the appointment. Next time I will use Home Advisor first I had other recommendations before I used Home Advisor, and after numerous phone calls and texts with the other companies, and being told the other people would get back with me, and then getting no response, that experience was very frustrating. I would highly recommend Steve and would have him complete other projects for me.

Recommended other way to fix or repair some things that would save us money.

I found Steve to be reliable, honest and fair.

I hired him to do some yard work. I showed him exactly what was to be removed and what was to be left. He was also to prep and paint a deck rail. When I arrived to pay him he had contracted the trimming out to a friend who removed all greenery from the fence with a hedge trimmer, totally butchering it. He also removed a rose bush, a flowering bush and an evergreen that were not to be removed. He did not paint the railing and wanted more money to complete the project.
