"Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I?m genuinely sorry that you feel dissatisfied, and I want to be clear that my intention has always been to complete this project properly and professionally. I remain willing to make reasonable adjustments and finish the job. That said, I feel it?s important to provide accurate context for anyone considering my services. I was brought into this project after a previous contractor had been terminated, with multiple issues already present, including missing and damaged trim, doors, and casing. The project was also on a very tight timeline, with flooring scheduled before finish work was complete, which limited the order in which tasks could be done. Due to your work schedule, I was restricted to working weekends only. Despite this, I worked full days on both Saturday and Sunday, including during poor weather conditions, to accommodate your timeline. Additionally, trim materials longer than 12 feet are not available, while several walls exceeded that length, requiring additional planning and patchwork. There were also missing doors and unfinished flooring upon my arrival, and I experienced delays due to flooring completion and the Christmas holiday. I was informed that one of the required doors would not arrive until January 17, which extended the overall timeline. Throughout the project, additional work was requested beyond the original contract, including patching, sanding old trim, and other items not initially agreed upon. I also made several trips to meet at hardware stores to review materials at your request. While I was happy to be flexible, the full contract amount was not paid. Regarding the photos posted, some do not reflect the most recent or completed state of the work. Certain items shown, such as un-nailed or un-caulked baseboards, were intentionally left unfinished pending final installation. Any minor issues, including a small area needing cleanup, were planned to be addressed once noticed. Protective coverings were used appropriately, and any concerns raised were part of an ongoing, active job?not a completed one. I take my work seriously and pride myself on being professional, transparent, and committed to client satisfaction. I believe in fair communication and collaboration, and I remain open to resolving concerns constructively. I wish you the best and appreciate the opportunity to clarify these details for future jobs"
