He prides himself on perfection and detail. Didn't happen for me. His crew is very nice on time and very nice to work with. They seem to care and work hard, however here are a few reasons I regret hiring him Kevin. His payment plan isn't fair so I shouldn't have agreed. He wants 90% of payment even before he hangs the doors and draws which are really the core of the job. After priming he did not address any cracks or gaps by caulking and I told him too please do that. He said he examined my doors and draws and they looked great. His crew installed and there were gaps in every door and draw. I immediately called and wanted him to see how bad it was and it took him over a week to see it. Since I paid 90% I thought that was totally not OK for his price and conversations I had about detail. I asked he remove all doors and draws and redo and caulk after priming and he would not. I had 2 other cabinet painters come and niether could believe. I hired someone else to redo.

"Thank you for your feedback Linda. We are sorry that you were dissatisfied with the finished project. However, we would like to clarify an important technical point regarding the gaps mentioned in this review. The center panels in these cabinet doors are designed to float within the surrounding frame. This allows the wood components to move naturally as temperature and humidity change throughout the year. For that reason, we do not caulk or permanently seal the perimeter of a floating center panel. Doing so can restrict normal movement and may cause the caulk to crack or separate as the door expands and contracts. We explained this to you several times and declined your request to caulk these areas because we did not believe it represented proper cabinet-finishing practice or a durable long-term solution. We certainly respect that you preferred a different appearance and ultimately chose another contractor. However, our decision not to caulk the floating panels was intentional and based on the construction of the cabinet doorsnot an oversight or an unwillingness to address the project. We stand behind our preparation and finishing process and will not perform a procedure that we believe could compromise the long-term appearance or performance of a customers cabinetry. We had thought to replace our kitchen and bathroom cabinets which were dated and discolored. We called Cabinet Painting Guru and weâ re impressed from our first meeting. He explained the process, gave us a fair quote and we booked our appointment without hesitation. We were kept informed every step of the way and the hardest part of the process was choosing the paint color. The outcome was more than we had hoped for. They came and painted our cabinets white in our kitchen and laundry room. They were meticulous and caring and Kevin, the owner, was in touch throughout the week. They applied many coats painstakingly until it was perfect. Kevin even gave us flowers at the end. He was a joy to work with. Trust the process! I highly recommend them.
