Refinished chairs looked great, but we received comments that the finish was no longer smooth. When cushions were switched they had to be peeled off the chairs and now the seats need work.

Mark's work was everything we had expected. As we did not give him a time frame for the work to be completed, we called to follow up on a due date. Mark had the work completed and delivered the finished item to our house. We will use him again.

He could not fix the bed but he took the money for coming out to look at it and he said he'd call back with a price. A week went by and I ended up calling him. He said he could not find the part so he told me he knows a person who might fix the problem for 1000 dollars. I said no.

"I am very busy with the rest of the project and I spend an hour to research the parts off his very old electrical bed. I made a trip back from San Jose to Santa Cruz and spent an hour troubleshooting his old bed and for everything he paid me only $100 and after that he is still blaming me for something which is impossible to be fixed! He didn't appreciate what I did for him so I total two hours to drive from San Jose to Santa Cruz, one hour to troubleshoot, one hour to research for his old parts for his old bed, and it he is still not happy."

After we put the request to have our La-Z-Boy repaired, Mark called me before I even exited Home Adviser’s website. He took the assignment and was over within a few hours and had the problem solved within another hour! Very professional and fast! I’d recommend him to anyone.

Mark was wonderful. He called me back to schedule a time that accommodated my complicated schedule exactly when he said he would - not once but three times. And when the agreed upon time arrived, he arrived. The plan was that he would come look at the big antique linen press (think armoire) which has a heavy door with a 7â tall beveled glass mirror on it and give me an estimate of the cost to repair its hinge for a $100 trip charge which would be applied to the cost of the repair if he did the job. Instead, in 2 hours, starting at 6:00 pm, he repaired the stripped out screw holes, made new screws, and did so in such a way that there is no visible sign of the damage that had been done. His willingness to work well into the evening saved me from scheduling a second visit. Mark is a true gentleman and a master craftsman. I highly recommend him.

He overcharged me by hundreds of dollars, I wish I had done my homework, I found out after that I could have gotten the couch fixed and upholstered for the price I paid, when he dropped off the couch he asked me where the screws were, when I told him I didnt have them he insisted that he handed them to me that he had no reason to take them with him that he is a professional and he gave me the screws, I didnt have the screws I told him to leave and I would get someone else to put it back together because I spent 20 minutes listening to him basically calling me a liar and telling me he was a professional and he had handed me the screws, he did offer to go to orchard supply and get new screws free of charge but I had stated that I had to leave at 1pm for work and he arrived at 12:40 I was already late so I paid him and asked him to leave, I got a guy to come by today I told him that the guy that did the work on it had lost the screws but insisted that he handed the screws to me the guy burst out laughing and said what kind of cowboy was this guy because the screws were already attached to the couch and put it back together in 3 minutes so I learned my lesson in future I am going to always get a second opinion and I will never hire OM furniture again and I would advise others not to either

"This woman has serious mental disorder. I scan her personality and unfortunately it was very hard to deal with here. I had no reason to take the screws with me because I took the furniture out to frame and the screws belong to that frame I always leave the parts which I don't need in customer's house. .And she lost the screw which I left with her. She was very hyper. Originally I gave her a price and she took this offer...If she didn't like my price she should get multiple estimate Unfortunately there are a lot of people who have mental problems and there are under medication and out of mental facility so it is very hard to deal with"

Mark does fabulous work! He was able to rescue my dining room chair leg from the wolf-dog teeth marks left on one of the legs. Actually my dog had actually taken some nice chunks out! And now it looks like new. Mark's work is worth every penny he charges!

Mark replaced the bottoms of 6 drawers for a dresser. The original ones, the bottoms fell out. The new ones are beautiful, and built better than the original. The bottoms are made of a strong maple plywood; I expect they will out last the original; the support is better than the original. Mark picked up and delivered them. I highly recommend him for furniture repair.

I called for a desk drawer repair. Mark came promptly after the call. When he saw the problem, he told me how to repair it myself. He could simply have repaired it and charged me a lot more. Instead, he saved me the $$ and built up good will.

The repairman was courteous, prompt, and efficient. He had desk drawers working again in about an hour. 3 drawers were fixed and alligned in minutes. One drawer took longer to repair, but he was able to get it going too. He knows his stuff. Would call him again and would recommend him to others as well.

My table had several,scratches on it. It was an old dining room table with a pecan veneer. The scratches were very obvious but Mark was able to refinish the table top to look better than new without disturbing the pecan veneer.

My grandmother's rocking chair needed to be re-caned. There aren't many that do this, and Mark did a great job. He isn't cheap and it took 7 weeks but am glad to have the chair refinished.

Fixed the legs of a water damaged Buffet, and some 1/4 decorative molding on the front. Picked up, fixed in only a few days, dropped off, I considered the price fair, not cheap but reasonable for Silicon Valley. Not a full restoration. I did not deem if worthy of spending the money, but looks much better than it did before, while not new looking, that was not what he was tasked to do, it looks very nice and hard to tell it ever had a problem.

VERY expensive. picked up and delivered recliner but didn't have a second person to help with getting in and out. If my son were not home, I don't know what he would've done. It is a set of 3 connected recliners. When reinstalling, could not connect to other chair and unlatched the others and could not put back together. States OM furniture, but checks are written to him personally. I would not recommend Mark for any job.

"If you hire second helper you have to pay him $25 pier hour and then the overalls to repair recliner will be raised and It is not beneficial for the client she don't understand that she was located in Santa Cruz which is 1 Hour one-way drive and parts to repair recliner also cost money that is lot of overalls to do this project"
