We knew we wanted to upgrade our kitchen countertops but had no idea of where to start. Karen got us pointed in the right direction and told us where to go to view the granite slabs, sinks, faucets etc.

Karen has done a first rate job in helping us select our carpet and manage the carpet tear down and the carpet installation. It was a pleasure working with her. Her son, David, did an excellent job taking our old carpet apart and hauling it away, making sure the floor is clean and ready for the new carpet. George, the carpet installer, did an excellent job as well, installing a living room, stairs and a bedroom in a very short time. All three of the people involved where punctual, professional and nice to work with.

Karen was very responsive and did everythign she could to get the price done at a great price. The one issue was she never came out to see the project so the was a misunderstanding on the overhang of the raised breakfast bar and the support it would take.

Karen was very flexible and coordinated well with our schedule to get the work done within our budget and time frame. She went our of her way to bring us samples (tiles and countertops) and chose the right color and people for the job. She was also extremely patient while we went back and forth with the countertop selection process. We would highly recommend Karen(KLR Designs) for home remodeling projects.

We hired Karen to work on our hardwood floor project. Karen did a great job, taking the measures, helping us to choose the right type of hardwood, giving us an estimate and geting the project started. She is very punctual and never mises the appointment. Keith and Jason, the installers, did a great job installing the hardwood floor in two rooms and on the stairs. The whole project took only four days, including the carpet removal and the cleanup. Everyone loves our new floor.

We have decided to hire KLR Designs for our custom kitchen work. Karen was extremely professional and offered us the best cost with the best value.
