About us

After working in the restoration business for nearly three decades, Karen Lawlor established KML Remodeling in 2021 to lend her knowledge to local area homeowners. Through the years, Karen, has built excellent relationships with the very best contractors in the metro east, including carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers, and just about anyone else who can bring a customer’s vision to life. In addition, KML has close connections to local home improvement vendors, offering amazing cost-savings directly to the customer. Karen and her entire team are proud to offer the most cutting-edge designs in indoor and outdoor remodeling throughout Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair and Madison counties. We were impressed with the workers their knowledge and work ethic. We replaced doors and storm doors plus upgraded our master bath shower with floor to ceiling onyx. Absolutely gorgeous! The crews cleaned up and were professional. Karen was here everyday monitoring their work. I would recommend KML remodeling if you want the job done right I give KML 5 stars!

KML not only did my beautiful kitchen but also added a windows in my office, added hand rails to my front porch, and added support columns for my screened in deck. They also wrapped the parts of my house that previously required painting to make it maintenance free. KML also did landscaping at my sister's house which she loved. I would highly recommend kML. They were responsive, courteous, listened to what I wanted and made constructive suggestions. The sales staff was not pushy and really knew what they were talking about. Definitely have KML a try. Their bid was lower than other bids that I received so are competitive price wise.
