I came to your site looking for a company to drain water and remove fish from my pond the company that called me back was K and M construction. A guy Marvin Lee (so he says) and his wife came to give an estimate on 3/4/22 and they said they would come to do the work on 3/6/22 we did discuss that I would put half down before they got started and pay the rest when they were done (total amount was $600 cash).So 3/6/22 comes and when they get there they instantly ask for half the money I gave them the $300.00. Had I known they were drug heads looking for a fix I would have never done business with them. As soon as they started they knocked on my door looking for garbage bags then they asked to use my water holes that is when I knew I was being scammed. I said why do you not have anything you need, you should not be using anything of mines. They said that s why they needed half of the money in advance so they can go buy what they need. I said you told me this is going to be a 6-hour process will be done before 5pm. They started making up so many excuses to go. They were dumping the pond water in my grass and I told them my dog is in the yard all the time I don t want him trying to drink it by that time I was done with them. I told them to give me my money back because they haven t done anything. They promised they would be right back with everything they needed. They left for a minute and came back and got some fish claiming that they were trying to find some guy to buy the fish (they told me on 3/4/22 that they will have the guy with them the day they clean the pond). About a hour goes by and they were still gone. I call them and they said they are sending another guy out to finish the job. When the guy arrived he had no idea what he was coming to do when we explained what was going on he had the nerve to ask us for the remainder of the money and he would finish the job. We told him NO and we are getting the police involved. We call Marvin back and he yelled at my saying that I sent somebody there to finish the job and you did not let him. We told him the guy was looking for more money and were not giving it because he did nothing. Marvin said you never gave me any money we were in disbelief, he hung up and never answered his phone again. I made a police report the cop called him and Marvin said we never paid him and to call his attorney or he will see us in court. So now I am reaching out to you because when I called the company that is on the invoice K and M construction they said they have no Marvin Lee that works there and that they don t do pond work they do roofing and remodeling homes. And when the police looked the name Marvin Lee up it was a picture of someone else not him. So I have been scammed out of $300.00 and I have no way of figuring out who he is. I did get the incense plate and gave it to the police but he never told me anything. Please help so that I can get my money back and hopeful help someone else before they are scammed like me. The officer said he can tell he has done it before and knew that he would get away with it. I have a great update! That guy tried to scam someone else today 3/8/22 but the person saw my review and called him and told them not to come. I am so happy she called me and I was able to save her from being scammed. That money does not last long for a crackhead so they tried it again.
