I am extremely frustrated and disappointed by hiring this company. The job was supposed to be finished by 10/01/2003. I have been given the run around for a very long time. Now I have to hire a new contractor to finish their lousy job. At the beginning they promised me the world, now they do not even return my calls. I am sorry they were referred to me by your web-site.

I hired this contractor to refinish an existing cabinet and replace two existing countertops. The refinishing job was such a disaster that we never got past that. They completely ruined the cabinet I had, making it necessary for me to buy a whole new one (at great expense to me). They did not show up with the necessary tools to do the job, my husband had to lend them the tools. They even had the nerve to cash the deposit check I gave them for this horrible work. I hope you will not recommend this contractor to anyone else. They are a chop shop with absolutely no attention to quality.

I recently forwarded a letter to your customer service department reagarding Kobe Enterprises. My experience with them, In summary: I was quoted, and paid for, the following that I did not get: Base coat, two coats of paint and the project being supervised. Initially I was told they would use the paint I requested. However, when the painter came, Kobe had not provided the paint I had agreed to and this delayed the project several days. Had the project manager come to the site to supervise the job, he would have noticed the paint spatters on the carpet, front porch, wallpaper, windows, furniture and counter tops and assured that all those areas were masked and covered during the painting. The painter did a good job with the painting and was very courteous and respectful; however, I still haven't been able to clean up the mess that was left. I would not recommend this company in the future and, in fact, two friends were waiting to see how the job turned out so they could use this company and I was planning to have them paint the rest of my condo. While the painting itself was done well, there were just too many other negative issues.
