Kyle was a recommendation from a local Moulding and Door company siting his craftsmanship abilities and professionalism as the reason he should be at the top of my list. I liked Kyle immediately when I met him and decided he was the licensed contractor I felt most comfortable with in my home. I had an interior door that needed to be replaced and painted while saving the custom door molding to be rehung around my door (which is easier said than done), a pull through to be installed on a glass door made into a pocket door that was not only expensive but no longer available for purchase, another interior door that needed to be shaved down to fit properly, and a drawer to fix. He ordered the door and after a minor miscommunication, fixed the issue,(his word is good as gold) and came to install the door as promised. He even called ahead to let me know he was going to be a little late! When was the last time someone working at your home ever did that?. During the process I had some questions that I either texted or called him about. I didn't expect for him to get back to me soon because he's incredibly busy due to his referrals from past clients, but he did! I was shocked and happily surprised! Upon arrival he and his right hand man Alvaro, meticulously installed, painted and fixed everything to look as if nothing was ever wrong and it was right off the showroom floor! and the best part???...NOT JUST the FAIR PRICE but the ease I felt having them in my home. Integrity, honesty and confidence in a contractor is everything. I not only didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable having to run an errand, I was impressed that when Kyle had to leave to run an errand: Alvaro wasn't on his phone checking out Facebook like so many others who have worked at my home, but instead was meticulous in putting his head down and focusing his attention on doing the best job possible at what he was doing. Kyle and Alvaro also took great care in protecting my hardwood floors by putting cloth tarps down, and each time they were finished, made sure everything was fully cleaned as if they'd never been there.. Kyle may be busy but he's worth the wait and I feel really comfortable knowing I now have a contractor who I can trust hiring for any job I need done, small or large, as well as excited that I can make a honey do list of upcoming projects for a man I'm not married to!!!. (No more searching to find the right contractor!) I hope you'll give him a chance to show you why he doesn't need to advertise. Honestly, his work speaks for itself.

Kyle and his crew did a fabulous job. They were here when they said they would be. He always keep me up to date with the work schedule. Everyone was respectful, professional and cleaned up each day which I appreciated. I would highly recommend KSM and hope to use him again soon.

Kyle and his team were skilled, professional, respectful and timely. They made every effort to reduce the impact of the dust and noise we knew to expect. Kyle was patient, his team paid attention to detail (thank you Alvaro) and we now have a beautiful kitchen/great room to show for it. We plan to use them again when we remodel a bathroom. Got tired of waiting for home depot to call back to schedule a front door installation, so logged into home advisor and kyle was quick to call back. Time table was i needed this done fast and kyle was here the next morning. Great work, upfront and honest about all the charges. He is a general contractor and i would call him for any other projects.

Kyle was great. We had an odd timetable for our job and he had a busy schedule. Kyle worked with us to fit us in and do the job. His prices were very reasonable. So much to the point where I was slightly concerned about the quality of work. You know, you get what you pay for and all that. Kyle did a great job. He spoke straight and didn't try to convince me to do extra work. When he saw poor quality work from the previous door installer, he pointed this out to me. I thought for sure the "I can fix this for you for an extra ....... " was coming. Nope. He fixed the poor work and placed the door in as I requested. His quote was right on and much more reasonable than others we researched. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with Kyle's timeliness and ability to get the job done quickly. The work was well done and the price was fair.

Kyle did a good job installing the door. My issue with Kyle is the other things he broke while installing my door and his poor service in returning to finish after I paid him. Kyle broke my oak trim in half and wanted to replace it with fake wood. I supplied the oak to have the same trim replaced. He broke the latch for my screen door and threw away the strike plates for the exterior door because he forgot to remove it before throwing out the door. Kyle wanted me to go buy the strike plates. I did not because I was using the same hardware and it was his fault he threw it away with the door, that wasn't my fault. Kyle took measurements for the new door and was going to cut it at home because I had to get other work done before he could install the door. He returned to my home with the replacement door and nothing was done to that door. Kyle didn't copy the measurements he wrote down on the old door when he threw it away. So he had to remeasure again when he came to my house. I paid in full Kyle and he promised to return with the needed hardware for the doors. After a week I had to contact Kyle about the hardware. He came and replaced all the hardware, but the screen door latch was still a broken piece with only one screw holding it instead of two screws. That latch would move back and forth because it should have two screws but still wasn't the correct latch besides being broken. The parts were put in when I wasn't home. I had to call Kyle and ask why did he put a broken piece on when I was told that he special ordered the part? Another week goes by and I have to contact Kyle again about the screen door latch. Kyle said he would come the next day. I've waited two weeks and felt that was to long. I shouldn't have to keep contacting Kyle to come and finish so I told Kyle I will fix it my self. All he had to do was contact the company that put my screen door in to get the correct latch. Also, Kyle tried to charge me for time he spend going to the hardware store to purchase a saw blade because he blade wasn't sharp and to take measurements twice. Kyle charges by the hour. Be aware that if Kyle is at your house for 1 hour and 10 minutes, he will try to charge you for the whole extra hour saying he was there two hours. I work by the hour and I don't get paid one hour for only minutes worked in that hour. I took an hour of pay off his price. I didn't want an argument with him, but I felt that 1.5-2.0 hour should of been taken off. Good thing I was home for most of the work to verify his time. I told Kyle I was going to post this and he called me negative. Told me to hand tighten the screw and it would work. I don't have the screw, the latch is broken and the wrong one. Besides.....I paid Kyle to do this.

Our apartment was broken into today - and the door frame was cracked ..within minutes Kyle called to let me know he'd received my request for an emergency door repair via Homeadvisor.com. He was on Niles Canyon but said he would come to Hayward and take a look at the door. Kyle not only repaired the door he also let us know that our door only had `1 1/2 inch screws in our deadbolt lock - he replaced them with 4 inch screws. We so grateful that Kyle was willing to turn around on his way home to his family on a Friday evening! We are very satisfied and recommend him highly. Thank you Kyle.

I needed someone to quickly install baseboard at my home to coordinate with my kitchen and flooring contractors. Kyle called me back immediately and had the job completed within a week, right on time. He did such a good job that we have already had him back to do crown molding. He does good work at a fair price. I highly recommend him.
